Smith-Kramer's family says he and a group of friends were celebrating his birthday at a campground next to Donkey Creek in Humptulips. They got into an argument with a truck driver who was spinning doughnuts in the gravel.

It appears the driver intentionally ran the two men over.

Agreed! I am hoping it lays heavily on her consciousness to do the right thing if hasn't harmed her as well. Very scary situation.

Campers were upset about 1:30 a.m. Saturday because of a pickup that was doing doughnuts on a gravel bar in the campgrounds, officials say...The Sheriff's Office says he is a white man, 30 to 35 years old with dark hair and a short beard. The woman with him is described as 30. She also had dark hair.
Police have also released a photo that shows a pickup similar to the one that was being driven.

A 31-year-old suspect from Hoquiam was arrested Tuesday evening and booked into the Grays Harbor County Corrections facility for investigation of second-degree homicide

That's always extremely disappointing. Some people really make me sad for the human race.

James D. Walker was arrested Tuesday and booked into Grays Harbor County Jail. He appeared in Grays Harbor County court on Wednesday afternoon, and a judge set bail at $750,000.

Walkers’ family told Q13 News they believe the crash was only a tragic mistake. The suspect faces manslaughter, vehicular assault and hit-and-run charges...Prosecutors alleged Walker not only tried to hide and repair the damaged truck after the accident but also altered his appearance to escape capture.

On Tuesday deputies said they took Walker’s truck into evidence after they found it partially hidden behind bushes near a Hoquiam neighborhood.
