A Pierce County woman missing for more than a year might have been the victim of foul play, according to Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers. Joyce Dyer was last seen April 4, 2014. At the time, she was 54.

On Monday, Crime Stoppers posted information about Dyer’s disappearance.

Her roommate saw her leave their house on 40th Avenue East, near Summit. Dyer left her belongings, and no one has heard from or seen her since. She left her house with a man, possibly named David Lee, according to Crime Stoppers. He’s described as Asian, about 50, 5 feet 7, and 160 pounds, with dark hair. He might have worked in appliance repair.

They are hoping someone can tell them how to locate him. He’s described as 50 years old, 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds, with dark hair.

Man Pleads Guilty, Sentenced for Fatally Attacking Victim With Piece of Asphalt in Tacoma

I came across this and definitely think it should be looked into. This person matches the name and description of the male she was just seen with. Also Joyce used to frequent hosmer st which is where the above murder happened. I know this because Joyce is the mother of an family friend and this area was very common for her to be.

Not sure what the exact story is with Joyce's disappearance but it seems she has had some trouble before her disappearance. Online searches suggest that she is related to George McKay, which is why it would be a domestic violence issue.
