Justin Lasater was last seen Tuesday evening around 9:15p traveling northbound on Highway 97A from Wenatchee toward Entiat but never arrived home. He was driving a white 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, and deputies say his phone appears to be powered off or out of battery.

I drive this road all the time because I grew up in Chelan and still have a house there. It’s a highway that follows the Columbia River but it would be hard to go off the road into the water. Wenatchee to Entiat is about 19 miles.

Here's his Facebook - he likes his cars but he hasn't posted any new photos of them or updates since 2022. Justin Lasater

Not certain of exactly where he lived to track his route, one public court record for him, I'd bet it was simply a speeding ticket, if it's not handled at the Superior Court Level for a more serious offense, the docket details aren't in the system. So no address available there.
Lasater, Justin James - Defendant
Case No: 2A0081505 Date: 02-07-2022

His Mom and Aunt have another photo of him on Facebook - it's FB so can't link but you can find it easily by searching his name. The photo is definitely him and shows him smiling, but his appearance (weight, hair length) has changed).

I hope he is found safely soon.

One less bad driver off the roads it seems. Crash under investigation too, probably a junkie.
Websleuths is a victim-friendly environment. Both comments are totally inappropriate.

[Inane nonsense dreamed up by the utterly deranged]

Sometimes I wish we had a "???" type react emoji. He went over a guardrail into a river. Nothing about this case or its outcome would suggest such things and a full investigation hasn't been completed yet.

That’s a terrible thing to say.

Don't engage with the troll, just report to mods. People who say terrible things about strangers online often have mental health issues. RIP Justin, what a tragic accident.

I got a totally unhinged, threatening DM about this case. Real weirdos out there.

Mile marker 211 where he went into the water - kinda weird, he would have had to go over the train tracks and an embankment before ending up in the water. I've driven this road so many times in the snow and it's scary. It was 44 degrees on December 2 in Wenatchee.

unless it was up here near the curve but still, train tracks:

That’s what I said in my original post. Most of that drive has a buffer between the highway and the river.

Thanks for linking the weather data. I noticed it said there was fog at the time he went missing, I wonder how bad the visibility was?
