I can't find this woman in any official databases but her daughter seems to be actively looking for her on social media and is in contact with NAMUS.

Time and location made me think of Olympia Jane Doe right away. Estimated PMI is two years, but she could have been dead for as long as 15 years. She's a DDP case, so I guess we'll find out eventually.

Olympia Jane Doe's WS thread:
WA - WA - Olympia, WhtFem 20-30, UP8886, cranium & bones in wooded area, sticks & shoelace cross, Oct'81

Carnation Jane Doe's PMI is estimated to be about ten years (she was found in 2006), but she could've died between 1970-1990.

Carnation Jane Doe's WS thread:
WA - WA - Carnation, in horse pasture, UnkFem 18-50, UP9933, partial skull, Nov'06

There's also this Doe that recently surfaced -quite literally-, but there doesn't seem to be any updates about estimated PMI, ethnics, age, or gender. I'm including the WS thread for consideration, anyway.

Tacoma mudslide Doe:
WA - WA - Skull found after mudslide, Tacoma, Jan'22

-------------------------------

I also noticed from the first post that Karan was about 27-30 years when she disappeared, making 1983 the latest DLC. Worth to keep in mind when searching for potential Jane Does.

Karan has no ruleouts per NamUs as of Feb. 6th, 2022.

Karen Ann Brown was my mother. I am the oldest of her children. There are four of us kids. The two older ones didn't know about the younger two until a couple years ago.

Hi Tex, Welcome to Websleuths. Sorry that it's under these circumstances. Have you submitted a DNA sample to be added to Codis yet?

I'm not sure if this is the greatest match if she did disappear in 1983, but she does resemble UP5932 who was found in San Francisco on April 1991 to me.

Her stats match well, main problem would be the gap in time and the eye color (Karan had blue eyes, this Doe reportedly had brown eyes).

I believe this could be her. Sketch matches, color eyes, transient, in the article I attached , I highlighted a section that can be an important clue.

I think that she is a good candidate; maybe the daughter knows if there is some sense in the tattoos?
Maybe the initials of the children?
