Does anyone know if she’s been ruled out as being this Jane doe? Kelly went missing in 1983 and this Jane doe was found 17 minutes from where she went missing in 1986, citing the remains had been there a few years.

The Green River Killer was finally arrested in 2001 and identified as Gary L. Ridgway, who pled guilty to the murder of 48 women in November of 2003 to avoid the death penalty. After identifying Ridgway, it was confirmed that she was last seen with Ridgway parked near a baseball field on Pacific Highway South. Ridgway is certain that he killed Ms. McGinniss and left her body near Lake Fenwick, but her body was never located. Therefore, Ridgway has not been prosecuted for her murder.
