Send us a whisper, Lindsey - we are all looking for you but I'm afraid we need some help. If you can, just a small whisper will help...... We want you to come home, sweetie.

I really want to check out those waterways now. I can't stop thinking about them. Someone on another thread said TM from TES said all areas should be searched three times - and he's the professional!

I would assume that since a body will float as it decomposes, exposing itself on the surface, that it is a good idea to revisit the waterways.

I will hold out hope dear, down to the last person on the board if need be. Hope is what drives us forward in our everyday lives and our search for Lindsey. I can think of all kinds of circumstances that would leave her very much alive and until I am proven wrong, will believe with all my heart that she is alive.

It's a fight every day to get up and keep going when there is no real news, but for the sake of this little 11 year old girl, I will still believe. A glimmer of hope is all I need.

Thank you for your kind words. :)

:blowkiss:

O/T: So glad the locals are cooler, but did you have to send the heat my way?
It's 8:30 a.m. and already too hot to work. Blaech.

Gettin better.

On topic:
I've been thinking that if Lindsey is dead and dumped or even buried somewhere, it's not inside McCleary proper and it more than likely isn't anywhere in the open or where people travel on even a rare basis. After the WA heat wave, (which is now the MI heat wave), if she were anywhere even lightly traveled, there would have been some reports from someone smelling the body. So, if she is dead, then I would stake the hopes of recovery on the woods, or a larger body of water, probably the woods, since there are wooded areas much closer than decent sized bodies of water.
It is awful hard to search a forest from the other side of the country. ~sigh~

Where are you Lindsey?????????

When was that supposed to be done? I believe they are fairly new right now.....I am tempted to go for a drive.....

Thank you so much for responding to that side question. I was hesitant to even post the question for some strange reason as it seems so mundane at this point. Also on the lonnnng register of dispersement of monies throughout Western Wa. gave no dates for repairs but seemed it was as recent of 2009. I'm glad to hear they followed through as small communities seem to be the last on the list. Thats alot of money for templates and concrete! LOL!. I have one comment about the nosey lady. This story is staying afloat on the internet so Mc Cleary may be drawing some folks in for curiosty, weirdos that get a thrill from reading about the case and want a connection, money agenda people and those secretive news reporters, maybe even male and female undercover LE. I can empathize with Mom and her vacant feelings. Sometims the pain is so devastating that you shut down a bit so you rebute for days ahead. Is Mc Cleary becomming apathetic to this case? Glad you got the bugs worked out here at W/S. Hope ya'll can find out something working together. Remember FBI said look out for any residents breaking patterns, acting different. Stay alert! I'm thinking the perv is banking on the story going stale. Coffee time!

Kimster posted earlier today that a poster on another thread had said that Tim Miller of TES said that, in general, not specifically referring to the search for Lindsey, every area being searched should be searched three times, and I agree that is a very good idea and a professional approach to the effort to find someone.

How terrible if any of us -- as volunteers new to the activity -- missed an important clue or sign and it turned out later that was where the victim was at the time or had been recently.

MOO.

First of all, welcome blownaway, the more locals on this the merrier, especially when everything seems to be stalling out and coming to a standstill.

Which brings me to this post. I spent some time going over the SO thread and thought about a number of things common to the 3 best known SO in the McCleary area. I'm sure they have been extensively investigated by LE but one thing that I noticed when checking their addresses out in Google Earth is that there are a few things common to each location:

1. Easy access both in and out of McCleary
2. Home location is somewhat remote
3. Home location has easy access to woods
4. Locations might be areas of consideration when it comes to abandoned septic tanks, wells, or both.

Questions:
-what would be necessary for search warrents on these properties and would the simple fact that they are RSO's be enough for an extensive search (i.e. - blood hounds and cadaver dogs searching for both cadaver scent "and" human scent)?

- has there been any indication that these 3 SO properties have already been checked out with search dogs and other?

- the Feeser location is a bit north of that search a few weeks ago off Larson Rd., but is it close enough that LE might be investigation a "tip" related to Feeser and Wildcat creek, which is just south of Larson Rd.?

- do these 3 SO's still even live in these areas? Even then, they couldn't be ruled out because they may be visiting from time to time.

To me, personally, these SO's are as important to a thorough investigation as the area on Maple itself.

Here's a map I threw together to provide an easy access visual:

PS - I read a post on SM (post #715) about some cameras checking out underground waterway areas and some work way back with town workers helping the door plant divert water into the underground areas. If anyone is interested in that link let me know and I'll see if I can find it. I'm still interested in that underground area between the Shell station and Maple (the map post that Jennifer so kindly offered). I understand that it's probably too small for any bolder sized objects to go slipping down into oblivion but unless I know for certain it will remain a possibility, imo.

Here's a snip from post relative to the door plant - There are only 5 places in town where drainage can be seen from above ground, but a company doing their plans for the last upgrade ran cameras through the entire system. Wish they could do that again. Interesting point with the cameras, they found enormous flow from unknown and previously unmeasured source coming into the city system. It was the door company which had hooked in with city workers help, but been forgotten.

A few questions about seeking search warrents on SO property.

How a Search Warrant is Obtained

The Fourth Amendment requires that searches be specific and reasonable. That means that a judge will only approve a search warrant if law enforcement is specific as to the items and location it wishes to search. Law enforcement must also prove that probable cause exists that a specific item is located in a specific place.

Whether the warrant gets issued or not is up to the judge's review

Source - http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/Art...deral/when-is-a-search-warrant-necessary.html

Above considerations:

1. Specific and reasonable - surely the registered sex offender being so approximate to the McCleary location would satisfy this requirement?

2. Specify items and location - the SO's land and specifying that wells, septic tanks, cubby holes, etc., for evidence related to the presence of LB, either alive or dead...?

3. Probable cause - surely the fact that the individual is a RSO would be enough to satisfy that requirement?

Would the above not provide sufficient provision, within the 4th amendment, to allow for a search on the property of all RSO's within a reasonable distance of McCleary?

It would be nice to know if that has been done, at least for these 3 known locals.

Welcome Blown away. I was kind of wondering about the railroad tracks and wondering if there is a bridge above or around where feeser lives, and also if there is possible small pond/swamp like that is kind of stagnent. I don't know the area can only tell by some of the google maps.

  • #376
Normcar, Feeser is in the 100 block of Elma Hicklin Road which is West of town (pretty close to where Kuhn is)

Here's a quick map I tossed together in an attempt to help answer some of your questions, hope that helps. This map is according to how I read the information and I welcome any corrections to it.

Wait, Normcar. I'm incorrect.

Feeser is in the 100 block of Elma Hicklin Road (for some reason I thought the numbers started in the 100s on the west end and got higher towards the East end but it looks like I have it backwards). So you have Feesers house close.. but not exact (which is no big deal, he's in that general area)

Sorry for the confusion.

Hmm, so this info posted by momtective in the SO thread is incorrect?
