LOL! I won't tell them I'm coming and JVK will take a pic of me and post it here as a "suspicious looking character" - right? :woohoo:

Cyberswept would probably beat him to it! LOL

I am a bit curious as to what KK has to say these days tho.

Oh no, I wouldn't sneak a picture. I respect Kimster's privacy. :)

been reading through threads.

is it safe to say that so far, we know there are a lot of creeps (SO's etc) in town, and some sketchy neighbors, relatives, friends, but no one is standing out as particularly suspicious. in other words, no real progress? is that a fair summary? i am also not seeing a whole lot of evidence surfacing, unless i missed something.

Sorry for multiple posting, I'm just feeling extremely depressed at how things are slowing down. Stagnant waters are never good, imo. I hope something inspires LB's threads to get on with the business of finding her.
I've had to work (gasp!) away from (groan) my trusty laptop (eek!) these past few days, but Lindsey is never far from my thoughts: she just pops right in, talking a mile a minute...and nevermind that Swiss Coffee Semi-Gloss looks like 10 years worth of tar and nicotine dripping down the rental's kitchen walls or the skunk (family of 4) prints trailing through in the drywall dust into the garage where the rental cat and her five (five) rental-kittens live until the roofers get the new termites (scratch that, insert "new truss beams") delivered and installed (six days post deadline) at last...

So I'm still 'here' (except for when I'm 'over there')!
Where is Lindsey?

Here's another registered transient SO nearby...

http://www.theolympian.com/breakingnews/story/930040.html

Our governor really needs to change the damn laws of this state..

John Gilbert Gray, 27, was arrested on Feb. 5, 2009, by Department of Corrections. Gray, who was on probation for failing to register as a sex offender, was contacted by Olympia Police officers during a routine visit. Officers found a cell phone which Gray was not allowed to possess, as he has been known to contact minors with it. Officers also found a fully charged stun gun, a large knife, mace, duct tape, sex toys and female clothing.

Why is this guy still walking the streets?

Seriously they need to change the laws. First they need to put these people away for life. But that'll never happen so they need to make it that if they don't have a place to live when it's time to be released.. they can stay in prison until suitable housing is found. This "transient" crap is stupid.

I've been trying to find a reference I thought I saw about Lindsey's grandfather and uncle out searching, but I can't find anything. Anyone know where I might have seen or heard this - or did I dream it?

If this has been reported, I missed it!

I believe the information about the uncle was in the radio interview with her mother who said her uncle was retired and was actively searching along the west coast. I'll try to find it.

That just occurred to me that it may have been there, I'm listening to it now. Thanks

JeniferO: The Obama administration wants to change the law (thus, our constitution) regarding sex offenders - it wants unlimited detention available...even if sex offenders have served their mandated court sentence, it wants the right to keep them indefinitely. The Supreme Court will be discussing and deciding on this in Fall...so if you agree or disagree with the premise...write your letters. I have a link somewhere explaining the entire issue and I am unable to find it right now. mho

Please post the link when you find it, I would like to know who to send letters to. Thanks

I personally vote for lifetime civil commitment...see sig line for reasons why.

Thanks boondock ~ Pretty interesting find! I clicked on the download button, and if I'm reading the foreword correctly, and I think I am, KK organized this project. The articles themselves are contributions from her writers group.

It's pretty comprehensive, and indications are this project was put together just within the last month, and on Lindsey's behalf.

I'm sorry for having contributed to the slowing down of this thread. I didn't post a ton, but I was here. I know for me, it is as distracted suggested. I (and I'm sure many of the others) have been focusing on little Robert this past week. And it just gets very overwhelming to follow multiple cases at an intense level at once. I have been checking in, but haven't had much to say, or the energy to say it. But I know that I (and I'm sure most others) have not forgot about Lindsey and will be back. The lack of information is also very frustrating. We're talking in a lot of circles. But I hope that something breaks in Lindsey's case and she is able to be brought home soon. I feel that many posters will return soon as well.

:blowkiss: to all of you who have continued to post and sleuth for Lindsey.

{{{{Me Too!!!!!}}}}} :sheesh: I've been following Robert's case as well - I think I've been spending fairly equal time between Lindsey's Forum and Robert's Case, however, I've definitely been posting more on Robert than on Lindsey of late. It's not that I'm losing interest - or giving up - I *never will - it's just that I'm doing more re-reading on Lindsey's Forum and trying to come up with new questions that have not already been answered. I'm looking at areas of the forum that I never explored before......I still feel that the all-important answer is right there in front of us and we're just not seeing it.....like we put a part of the puzzle together wrong somewhere........

We just *have to bring this little one home!!

Hmmm...no...sounds like you are pretty much on target. Sad to say.

I read everything I can about Lindsey and I am so frustrated that the police are giving out nothing to the public.. If I lived in that town I would be calling them everyday.. Someone knows something.. I come here everyday hoping that she has been found.. I pray she is safe and will come home soon that someone has her and will let her go.. I know that the chances get slimmer as time goes on but I still hope her case will have a better outcome then poor Robert..

Where is Lindsey? She didn't vanish into thin air as we have been led to believe. She is somewhere. But where.

I would like to see a re-enactment of this case. Everyone back to square one - maybe starting at the time of the visit to the video store. When the girls left the store, what cars passed them? Was anyone else out walking around? Who? When the girls left Lindsey's house - who else was on the street? Who saw Josh return home? Who saw the girls continue to MK's house? And then, who saw Lindsey as she left the house alone? Who are the people that saw her on Maple?

A re-enactment might jog someone's memory of a car that passed, someone walking their dog... I don't know, anything! Lindsey needs to come home!
