Can some one get a mod to increase my PM box size? I'd prefer to hold onto everything in here & i'm @ Quota

You have reached your stored private message quota and cannot send any further messages until space has been created.

You can save them as a text file on your computer.

Mark all the ones you want to keep, scroll to the bottom and it has a drop down menu. Last option is Download as text. That's how I save all of mine.

Hey all. Today was kind of a bummer day because the weather just sucked and we were all just sopping wet. We hit an area and walked uphill for about 3 1/2 miles. And I do mean uphill all the way.

I wussed out. I couldn't take it anymore and my legs just wouldn't work. Sorry JVK and Michelle.

I didn't think the area was that plausible anyway because I can't imagine the perp taking Lindsey that far up, and uphill. They would have had to have a motorbike or quad to do it. Which yes, is possible. Then we heard people talking in the woods and music, which was probably an echo from down below we thought. It was just weird. Never did figure out where the talking or the music came from.

Anyway...we came back and ate and pooped out basically :)

We have more people tomorrow sounds like. My son is coming with me and we are driving hubbies truck and taking my sons motorbike...that way they can get up in areas and see if we need to search further or go up higher. We can even get back up to where we were today and see if it's plausible.

JVK...love the pics of my new Buddy :) He's such a sweetheart and such a good dog. He has been such a trooper and a good boy.

Anyway...just checking in but I gotta hit the bed. See some of you tomorrow!

Do you think that would keep the Californians from moving up here if they thought we had crocs?

i think the slugs we have here keep the Cali's from moving up here.....

Thanks to all of you doing search's on your own and to everyone who is keeping this thread alive!!! :blowkiss:

There may be some misinformation as well as info that could be looked into. All don't give up as we finally have a good dialog going. Jennifer your pasionate about Lindsey's return maybe in a bit different way as you are in the thick with the some of the main players. That isn't a bad thing as it is apparent MB needs to have all the help she can get & the searches are one direction to help bring her home. We need to question everything as we can now see conflicting stories from what seems two sides. Also LE may not have had a seach dog alert but FBI brought military into the first search & rescue wich includes military search and rescue dogs. No one is privy to the Fed report from that day. They remain closed as this is still an ongoing investigation. As far as the monies go all of it in good faith should be put into the search and the publicity it is going take to keep people looking. Hope MB & friends make those large posters of Lindsey so the perp Lindsey knows will have to look at it everyday if he is mCCleary still. No one is lying but maybe all are interpreting their separate versions and both need to be looked at objectivily , if not to dispell one or both interpretation. I did hear a sincerity in the womans voice at S. of wanting to share the info only to get people out of the wood work to talk. I'v wondered why so many of are imformative posters in McCleary have lsft? Lets be kool with hearing the many sides to a tale, brainstorm.

bold by me......yes....yes....yes....is all i can say...and wish i could say more :silenced:

Don't know what the weather is like in McCleary but in Monte we have thunder, lightening and sideways rain.

No thunder or lightening, but the rain has been pounding all night. We've had showers that sound like someone is pounding on the roof...and everything low is flooded. I haven't been out on the road yet, but my guess is half my road is under water.

Thanks for the update. I think I'm going to bag any searching I was going to do today.

It's just to nasty to be traipsing around in the woods (I know, that sounds selfish and I apologize to people for it.. but I know what the woods are like around here when it rains this hard. I really don't want to be out in it.)

There's been a bit of wind too...with the branches soaked and heavy, and the wind pushing them around...people really need to be careful. No one in my family goes into the windy woods because our family's fatal disease is known as "death by tree." Especially as the ground gets saturated and entire trees start to come down along waterways and on hillsides.

haha.. sorry, "death by tree" made me giggle (not the part about it being a fatal disease in your family.. just the term you used did)

If Breanna and JVK (and anyone else) goes out.. be careful guys! It's nasty out there.

It's the term my family uses...and it's been a couple generations since it actually killed anyone...so at this point it's more of a warning to all of us growing up in the woods.

We have a dear sweet poster here that lost her 5 yo son while camping due to a tree limb falling on him. :(

We're going to hold off and watch this weather, it's remotely possible it'll clear in the ~late afternoon.

Can you email me and give me an idea of the areas you have searched. We were talking about driving to McCleary and driving the logging roads.. finding easy to pull over places and looking around those. I personally don't think we need to hike way out off the beaten path, I can't imagine someone taking her that far (but I'm glad you are looking.. just on the off chance that is what has happened)

oh crap.. now I feel horrible for laughing about it :(
You couldn't have known. I was just mentioning it because it is true what McCleary said about the wind and the tree limbs tho. It does present a dangerous situation when out in the woods.

We need to gtg w/a map in front of us so i can show you where we've been. I was going to update a map on the computer - once we finished a couple more areas.

I hate to say this, but it may be a good idea to scrap searching until things dry up. I recall TES refusing to search areas that were muddy due to pushing evidence into the ground accidently and losing it for good.

You have my number right? If you decide to head to McCleary later text or call me. I can come into town even if it's just to meet up and get an updated map.
