Can't believe there's talk of a party - that would be huge. I'm certain that if it was ever discussed and confirmed it would be in my time-line. First I've heard of it.

Where is the timeline or could you give a link?

Ok, so I have a question.

It is clear, from articles, that the 23 year old son is the one who the rumors have been about and who is reportedly getting "death threats."

Yet some articles talk about the man of the house being the one focused on.

While it LOOKS like that is a misreporting and not being clear that that doesn't mean the father, COULD it be that while the RUMORS are about the son, that they really WERE looking at the father?

We've heard the son has an apparent alibi, but could the confusion between various articles be that while WE thought they were looking at the son based on things said, and that's what the townspeople said, that the person who was being questioned was the father of the house?

Did that make sense? LOL

I thought so too TravelingBug until today's article with the word man in the title and in the body it mentions the young man is the focus. The journo might have it wrong too. LOL

It hasn't been altered since July so I'm anxious to put an ARREST on the bottom of it. Hope you find it! by the way - the same times that were under discussion in June and July - continue to be. Ok...I know I read somewhere that this guy had two jobs... not sure where I read it because I've been all over the place LOL I wonder where his other job was. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was probably a part time...day job... just my opinion of course. Are there lots of businesses that would employ a young man during the daytime there in town? Movies, restaurant, video store, pet store... anything like that? It's been a while since I've been through all the pics & posts ... just curious if maybe the link between the two could be his other place of employment.

You are right, there is a 23 year old. Let's see how I can do this without breaking TOS. We know who owns the property, right? Okay myspace search last name of property owner, 23-23 years old in McCleary, Wa.
He's the only one there and there is so much more...way more but I can't post it until I figure out how to do it without breaking TOS.

He has an interesting criminal history! mho

Ooooh. You do make a good point! If this were the case, wouldn't someone in the family step forward to say that LE was investigating them instead of the son? It would save the son a lot of grief if that were the case.

Yes, you would think that, but...so little makes sense about most of this I'm figuring maybe it's a question to be asked.

If the townspeople were already suspicious about the son (depending on what you believe of what's been said elsewhere, there are kids that go out of their way to avoid him or steer clear of him and various other rumors) then he may be a natural target.

But if the family came out and said well, oops, no, they were looking at the dad instead, then that would REALLY get people pointing fingers and more suspicion, I'd think...so...I don't know.

The family has called him (the son) the "scapegoat" - and I realize that's seemed to be intended to me by the town, but maybe there's another level of that, as well?

Just thinking of possibilities in this bizarrely entangled mess!

At least we know the SWs will be released in a few days!

This back to beehive thing kind of pisses me off. - For a variety of reasons:

1. The staff members were not so nice to me. (reluctant to let me search initially)

2. It took a tenant to bring up no one searching the empty Apts. (& then later alerting me)

3.a - (edit *at least*) One of the Apts i'd entered, has since been remodeled.
3.b - At the time its front door was nearly hanging off
3.c - I believe this apt had just prior had a death in it. (it was not cleaned up, confirmed via Staff member)

4. The tenant that alerted me said <they> thought 'half the town had a key' (being specific to a set of apts, which included #3 ^)

Of course its possible LE had searched them w/out anyone noticing (staff, tenants etc) - but ... in one of the apts specifically, given the multiple sets latex gloves on the floor, i saw no reason to believe that. (+ other)

1/2 the town had a key??? The police work in this case has been more than terrible. I don't blame you for being pizzed off. thanks again for all your valuable photography and insight. This area should have been a must to investigate.

I agree there is no excuse for LE not going through the Beehive immediately after her disappearance. They should have gone room by room until they looked in every nook and cranny. Makes no sense! If it took a SW to do it then it should have been obtained the next day. I do not understand if Lindsey was seen literally at their doorstep why it was not a top priority?!

Also people need to know Lindsey had told a friend a white car had been folling her and that another 11 year old girl was also talked to by someone a=in a white car the guy tryed to get her in by going as far as telling her she could drive the car. She ran and told her mom and yes the police knows this too.

It is just one more thing that starts to point in a direction towards the POI if that was his white car parked out in front/back of one of the 2 house they searched.

Can anyone look at that photo again from the search and compare the car to the one Jvk photographed sitting right out in front of the Beehive Center?
Wouldn't that be something if they matched!!!!!

I always get excited when a case starts to get real close like this, but I do have a solid gut about this as there are many points that could fit together like a jigsaw puzzle almost finished - getting down to the last few pieces.

I think LE has that much info. They are still working to see where she has been put and I hope they have this man in a hot box right now with the best the FBI could send down to McCleary {Montesano}. xoxo

I should call the Beehive and see if LE ever came around to search the rooms and grounds, and while I'm at it ask if they found anything there and when did the search happen. Last week? I won't but I sure am tempted. xox

Different counties actually straddle a fine line with this because the wording is a bit ambiguous.

You know how these things go, someone posts something and it is like ringing a bell and it can't be unrung. People will swear the two males are one and the same.

I guess it is heresay Knox, but other things about Lindsey being abused have been written by many that I have read elsewhere. Mlechester mentioned both points in regards to Lindsey and was the lady who befriended her and let Lindsey use her phone to call the police. They did come to her house from what she said and don't know if a report was made, but the one time the officer put Lindsey in his car and drove her home. She said this happened more than once.

I could call the MPD tomorrow and ask for a copy of the report as it should be public info. That would confirm this lady tells the truth, but I hate to see her brother brought to the forefront again in postings. He is a kid with some physical problems and is just trying to grow up I think. xox

One thing though:

Saying i was 'a concerned citizen' seemed to get me in the door.

I told them repeatedly that i was 'just a concerned citizen' and they accepted this as if it would be the only acceptable answer. (& reason to do this)
