Just heard from Gay Smither and Dawn Davis of the Laura Recovery Center - they were at the taping of the Oprah show today. From what they could tell, Lindsey was not highlighted on the show. Show appeared to focus on JayCee Dugard and several long term missing cases.

Disappointed, but not surprised.

What a shame that Oprah would choose to focus on a case that has been solved instead of any of the too many children that are still missing!

Just heard from Gay Smither and Dawn Davis of the Laura Recovery Center - they were at the taping of the Oprah show today. From what they could tell, Lindsey was not highlighted on the show. Show appeared to focus on JayCee Dugard and several long term missing cases.

Disappointed, but not surprised.

This really saddens me. Maybe fingers crossed they will add something in the editing process to include them.

Investigators then contacted_______________. She stated that in 2000 she and her two brothers were being babysat by Golder. She said her mother was good friends with Tena Golder. She said that while Golder watched pornographic videos and had her, her brothers and Dales younger brother watch the videos. He asked her to have sex with him and she refused. One day he took her to his room and barricaded the door with a large dresser. He removed her pants and the removed his pants and tried to have sexual intercourse with her. She said that she cried and struggled and after two hours he released her. She said she told friends about what happened whom she believed told school officials at Elma school district. It was reported to the police. Her mother found out about the incident. _______said her mother told her it would be her word against his and discouraged her from telling the police the truth. When the police officer spoke to her she said she told him nothing happened.

I just noticed this part now and it really concerns me even more that this event took place in HIS HOUSE.

Oh yes, there are clues throughout the affidavit for sure. Ralke is a real name too from McCleary .... S.Ralke was one of Lindsey's friends. The affadavit has a wealth of information in it. LE are zeroing in and IMO are circling back around to make sure they have not missed anything. But where is Lindsey ... she needs to come home.

Knox would be active duty so I am assuming that he is not NG. Many possibilities for MOS's, my son's a tanker at Knox, can't even speculate what unit he would be in.

There's infantry, tankers, scouts (recon cavalry) and some marine training there. I went to boot there. Then when you return home, you serve locally at your NG unit. There is active reserve, usually for 2 years and then it goes to inactive reserve until your ETS (ending term of service). Unless you re-up.

The guys that were overweight had diet limits and goals to meet for designated PT tests. As long as you made them, there was no problem. If you didn't make them, they just rode you harder.

The brother you all are discussing is AG the one in the Army. In 2000 he would have been 9 or 10, right?
The incident occurred at his house and the videos were at his house.

I can't say that I am all that surprised either - after all for them it is all about ratings-ratings-ratings. That's so sad - I was hoping for more from the Oprah show. I guess I should be content that they even showed Lindsey on there but it is heartbreaking.
