I think it very much depends on the police and their leader - I believe it is most often the victims' families who take such tips to heart and advocate their use to LE.

I would very much love to gain more insight into some people with the initials ML, FL and FL, all from the same household I believe. ML was posting somewhere else early on about LB making a 911 call from her house and being "delivered back to her abuser", if anyone remember that then you'll know who I mean. The person I am most interested in would be at the bottom of that hierarchy... a son I believe, similar name to father but slightly different.

Are there any locals who can shed a bit of insight on the younger FL? I think he's 28... long list of motor vehicle violations...

If so, I would love to know how this person is perceived around town. What's his disposition? Anything would be helpful... I'm going to go dig some.

ETA: Here's a list of the young FL's records. I know something was mentioned on the astrology section about the perp possibly having motor vehicle violations... I also think it was rumored somewhere that FL's mom was the person to see LB either on the way to KK's, or on the way home... or possible both. I could have sworn I read that somewhere. I also heard a rumor that this family had moved, either to a different part of Mccleary or out of town. I'll keep digging but would love it if any locals might know what I am talking about.

ETA again - maybe he's not the son. I just found something that lists who I thought was the mom (ML) as being 31? Maybe both FL's are the same person in this house? Just different names by a few letters...

ok, i was just reading some of kara's posts on the other site and i just have to say this....
coming from someone who has BEEN abused from age 11 to 18...there is NO WAY anyone can say 100% that someone has NOT been abused...
kara states in her posts that lindsey has NOT been abused ever....the only person that knows that for certain would be lindsey....
i hate that so bad.....i'm sorry i know i'm more senstive to it....but i kept it a secret until just a few years ago and i'm almost 33....almost everyone i know was in shock when it all came out....
she can't just say that....

I agree Pearshea, And looking at the photo of the FBI man in charge, I'd say he is a facts only man. I do hate to see them leave McCleary but they have many men tied up there.

I have been thinking all afternoon about your thought Tater, that there should be some sign of the perp pulling his car over. My thought was I wish some clairvoyant could walk those streets. I think we might be amazed but that it might give a possible base to work from.

The new dog man Henry that MB has hired did track her up the hill on 6th acc to KK from a post today at SM. To have this followed up by a seer could pinpoint where she was accosted.

Call me goofy, but I know seers have helped LE in many cases. Maybe not always solving the case but giving info that points LE in the right direction.

I know Laurie McQuary from the Portland area, but she won't even work on a case unless asked to either by the family or LE. She did solve a Lake Oswego Or case, and they found the body in the Redwoods in northern Callifornia where the husband had dumped her!

I looked up the address associated with ML and found that it was sold by a bank (possibly foreclosed?) to someone else just recently...like within June.

yellowpages shows her on 1st and I would say that she had been there for a while for it to show up in yellowpages. I think it's to soon for it to show up had they just moved there recently...I could be wrong tho... I think the best way would be a drivers license record maybe? I still have a bad feeling about a lot of people.
1. JM, house sits right there where it is most likely she disappeared IF she went that way (would he cover for someone else, son?)
2. WK, maybe she had a little crush on him, and he offered to take her home. Does have the weird myspace and the bodybuilding
3. EJ, owner of the house, named by the drunk and a number of criminal cases i can't access, ugh
4. NOW, this FL....all these moving violations make me want to know more about this person.

I think other people in town saw her, but they do not want to become "involved" for whatever reason. I do think she could have been along the main strip in town and then was accosted. I think she ran until she was abducted in a place where people did not hear her because she was too exhausted to scream loudly or she did and it was out of range. I think he left his car and chased her.

Please understand that I am in NO WAY doubting you if it is based on gut instinct or intuition. I have had too many personal experiences of "feeling" something was wrong about a particular situation/scenario that turned out to be prophetically correct. I do not EVER brush those feelings aside--even when they scare the hell-o out of me.

What I am trying to say is that if you are feeling something very strongly, there could very well be some basis in truth/fact behind those feelings.

I'm just trying to clarify if you are basing your opinion/thoughts on intuition or if I missed something that has been disclosed.

Terrific suggestions! How about checking receipts at the Shell for a couple hours around the time Lindsey went missing...how about checking receipts of those at the bar? How about sex offenders recently let out of prison...maybe they live or have relatives in nearby towns! Seems to me Lindsey was afraid of someone (nightmares, fear) and I'm wondering how everyone could have missed her fear and prediction something bad was going to happen. Someone had her really frightened. jmo

It would be a hard thing for a young girl to break a confidence, but maybe Lindsey's closest friends should be asked if Lindsey ever talked about those nightmares and/or fears.

I really, really hope that was one of the first things LE did when they found the TF Myspace profile. And I hope they brought in specialists to ask the kids she knows.

I've just finished reading through all the threads on this case.

Thanks so very much jvk for all the photos and footwork, you're awesome! Glad you're there to help Lindsey!

I'll be glad when the MJ drama is over so NG and JVM can get back to covering these cases.

Just my impressions and questions so far from all the reading and thinking I've done:

- Something was definitely up with Lindsey. I'd be willing to say (almost without a doubt) that she was being sexually abused and that the time the abuse started coincides with the time that her grades started dropping and her nightmares started. I think this abduction needs to be looked at from the angle of a SO escalation. That could explain why she may have gotten in the car willingly with the perp or maybe have even stopped over at the perp's house. She would have been very vulnerable to "father figure" attention due to her feelings toward the divorce and her father being across the country, leaving her easy prey to a sexual predator.

- Has anyone found out anymore information about ML and FL?

- Due to the astro profile and his myspace WK, KK's brother gives me a hinky feeling regarding this case. Do we know where he lives or anything about his record? I don't have access to any of the paid background check sites, but I'll check the free sites that have been linked.

Grades dropping and missing school because of "stress" are definitely possible signs of abuse. Could it be that someone AT THE SCHOOL was abusing her, so she stayed home to avoid being around that person?

WK has been giving me the willies since I first heard about him, and for no particular reason--just a gut feeling. When you add the fact that KK's behavior seems to be that she might be hiding something, or not sharing everything, it leads me to believe that she could possibly be protecting someone.

We still do not know who the other adults were that were at KK's house when Lindsey left there.

Did any of those adults leave soon after Lindsey headed home?

Was one of those adults WK?

Hmmm possibly! The other thing I thought bout was that maybe someone else owned it & the L's rented from them...but you would think the property wouldn't have been foreclosed on if rent was being paid to the owners...
