Because the word 'neighbor' was used. That would mean she lived close to Lindsay, and I don't get the impression the 3 had walked far before Jason was sent back home.

Lindsay was seen before she got to KK's house at 8:45 and then twice at 9:15 on her way back home. Do you think this lady lived on Maple and saw the kids walking to KK's and then 1/2 hour later saw Lindsay walking home by herself as she started driving down Maple to 3rd to go to work?

And yes, Maple does dead end going west.

See that's the thing about small towns like McCleary, Elma and Montesano.. everyone is your "neighbor" even if the live 3 blocks away.

Hmmm...behind the Shell station is curious. What was the neighbor doing behind the the station? Did they walk behind the station regularly? Interesting.

I feel like I'm stuck on a treadmill. LOL If the neighbor saw the fighting behind the Shell station that means she most likely doesn't live on Maple. And if she was heading out of town 1/2 hour later, why would she drive up Maple as it is a dead end. The way out of town to both adjacent counties is 3rd st which becomes Summit Dr to the north and also accesses Hwy 8 to the south.

These are just "maybe" things. I'm basing my info on things I've done before when I worked.

A couple of scenerios..
maybe she does live on the same street as the Baums but her babysitter lives on Maple?
It's possible she lives on Maple and she had run to the Shell station to get gas or a snack before she went to work or maybe she was coming from somewhere else (grocery shopping, returning videos etc) and seen them fighting and stopped.
No one really knows. Without a name we may never know exactly.

I would have to find links but two people saw Lindsey on her walk home.
Both in the same area (5th and 6th on Maple). The first one that reported it was the same person who broke up the fight. A second one came forward later.

ETA: I found this link http://abcnews.go.com/US/Story?id=7966924&page=1. It quotes MB as saying a family friend sent Josh home. So, yeah I think KK knows who it is.

Hi SS, We know LE isn't releasing any pertinent info. That stern business looking FBI agent is leading the investigation {name?} and I am sure he is a facts only man and he hides them under his vest!

I know who knows but she isn't saying. She has probably been told not to mention who it is. It is KK and her daughter K who was walking with Lindsay when this person sent J home. I am sure K told her mom who the person is, and for that matter J knows who she is too and he has probably told his mom too.

The only way we would find out is to ask KK in a post who she is! Any takers? Or maybe reanalyze her early posts as she might have said something that would give a clue.

I'd do it but my avi there is still in Easter mode and don't have a new one yet. :innocent:

There are at least 2 trailer parks on the Elma-McCleary Rd between Elma and McCleary, and several that branch off that road.

Yes, the psychic link posted here today did say she was a family friend. We don't know however where this psychic got her info. Neighbor has been more commonly used IMO

Hi, I can't link you to the post from ML on a nother forum, and they have not been mentioned by the media that I am aware of, but I can tell you their first names. That combined with the town should net you the info from a google search. Fester, Festus and Marilyn. Festus was who I was specifically interested in checking out... but it appears that my theory is not possible if they have recently moved away, because I thought the ML might have been the woman who saw Lindsey before and after KK's house that night... that's not the case it seems.

I'm still playing catch up BUT Closer, your theory could still be right... What if ML only moved within a few streets? If she was renting, it's very possible that she moved just blocks away...or maybe even bought a house blocks away.

There are at least 2 trailer parks on the Elma-McCleary Rd between Elma and McCleary, and several that branch off that road.
