I was thinking the Fire, Arms and Tobacco arm of the Fed gvnmt. They investigate fires, and this was in a state park which is public land.

ATM - Automated Teller Machine or in this case At The Moment
ATF - Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

Reading back thru KaraK's posts she does talk quite a bit about their MySpace accounts.

Lindsey's mother deleted L's account at home leaving only her own which L had no password to access.

I thought she meant that she deleted her account on their home computer, not her myspace account. As in, I have two accounts set up on my computer, one for me and one for anyone else who uses it (which rarely happens because I don't share nicely). If I delete the "guest' account then it would leave only my acct which is password protected so that my children (who are 14,12 and 6 and still have no myspace acct) can't log in and surf.

I've been following along and still haven't learned whether or not Kayla has any male relatives in the area. Wondering if the locals have any knowledge of this? Also, does anyone know her ethnic background or that of possible local relatives?

These images I've picked up continue to haunt me, and I would like to know if there is anything behind them.

I am not local but did take note that Kayla hated her hair in one of the pix on her mother's MySpace pages:

How in the name of heavens do 10-12 year olds get 55 friends on MySpace when they shouldn't even have a MySpace account? Where are the controls and monitoring? Lindsey's friend KK has 55 friends on MySpace - IMO and I have just really started looking there was a lot of social networking going on. The FBI front man in charge of Cyberland and fronting Lindsey's case has his hands full at the moment I am sure. 55 no less and I have a gut feeling that this MySpace account is going to get shut down so I am going to spend the next little while doing what I do best ..............

The drift I got from reading Karak's post was that Lindsey was left with no access to her MySpace account from her house. She had a problem getting a virus on a computer by accessing MySpace thru YoVille so she was shut down at home. She had to use either Kayla's puter, the one at the library or other friends computers in McCleary where parents did little monitoring.

I'll go read that again real quick as I know right where it is. xox

In my own words from reading KaraK, Lindsey's mom blocked the site from their computer and deleted all the computer's usernames except her own, and Lindsay did not know her mother's password.

Elepher, I am so glad you are here~! :) I am a true novice at MySpace and have no idea how to get into an account and explore it. I think you have to be a MS member yourself.

You go Elepher! I'll be anxious to see what you discover. Happy Hunting!

I also read from KaraK that the way they found Lindsey's MS account/s was thru her friends who shared passwords with each other.

Well you could get to the location of the fire via any one of the enterances into the Capital Forest. All the roads and trails are connected at some point. It's like a large maze of old logging roads up there. Lots of camping, hiking, horse back riding, motor cycle/quad riding goes on up there.

But the ORV park is not close to where the fire was. I'll see if I can make a map of it and post it.

thanks :)

we have camped up there several times...and i know there is places my ex take the boys to go target shooting...its a very big place...

i was just thinking if there could be a way to get into there close to the fire..but yet again...if a perp took her into there....he may have traveled farther into the forest.....i wonder if they have a sign in sheet or something to register in and outs of that park.....i know there is plenty of free camping up there......but im trying to think if its someone that travels to McCleary on a reg basis...say every weekend...stop for gas...seen her walking...maybe had contact with her before....etc.....someone who likes to go dirt bike riding..

Thanks Scandi, I have an account on every known social networking site so I can spy on the 3 children that I am bringing up - they know I spy on them - no secrets and I have been known to go in behind the scenes and change their passwords if they get out of line - then they have to earn them back. I have found what I would consider - how should I say it - some what I would consider disturbing friends in the list of 55 friends - like some male friends in their 40's who are NOT on her mother's MySpace friends list. I don't like it at all. I do not like what I am seeing in the friends list for Lindsey's friend K**la. Will do some shots out to photobucket.
