Oh, Oh, Oh! Nevermind. I don't need a link! Thanks tho! ;) And thank you, Scandi for reminding me. (It is late and I am fading.)

I've had a long nite too and am going to crawl into bed and watch the new Law and Order with Jeff somebody. He is the epitemy to me of an A-1` investigator. Wub him.

O/T Does anyone know who Monk is a take off on? I read it the other day and should have written it down. But his character is based on a real live detective, almost like Monk is his clone. xoxox

ETA: I agree with most of your post, Scandi...except I keep thinking about Pat Brown. She and I never see quite eye to eye on most profiles or cases. LOL (She is one I would like to sit down and hash it out with tho.)

I think Pat Brown hits it on the head more than not, but in a recent case ??? she was off.

I really admire Clint Van Zant and the lady down in Orlando who has here own TV show. Name??? And Pat Brown has a peer, a lady whose name also escapes me and I too tired to look her up. Oh, Candace DeLong who was quite active as a TH during the Scott Peterson case.

Maybe a great profiler will be noted now from the Northwest in Lindsey's case once it all comes together. I look forward to that. They are a special breed!

PS: I so want to read Pierce Quincy's book 'Gone' about a case that started on a stretch of an Oregon hwy with a deserted car, engine running, purse on the dr . . . . Sounds right up our ally. ;}

If that is the profile LE talked about I agree it seems to fit with someone who might stop in town every Fri nite for a brewskie. Or a trucker or delivery man stopping on his way home after a long days work. It makes such sense, doesn't it. A guy works in Olympia, lives almost to Shelton and wants to relax a bit before sliding in the front door every Fri nite. He's almost home so he's not worried about driving and drinking - he could probably negotiate the road in his sleep!

(Snipped)

Just a local note: It's a lot more likely for someone in the Olympia to Shelton-ish scenario to stop at the Little Creek Casino at the junction of highway 101 and 108 than it is for them to come through McCleary. The bar in McCleary is usually locals, with a rare vacationer or ORVer thrown in. And Rounder's doesn't stay open as late as most bars...the times I went in they closed at 11 or so. On Fridays and Saturdays the latest I was ever in there was midnight, and there were usually only 1-2 people left after my friends and I were gone.

Artilce is posted in the daily & media thread, but didn't want anyone to miss the video! TIA

VIDEO: Girl Disappears, Dad to Deploy 5:08
http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=5154840n&tag=cbsnewsVideoArea.0

Thanks Angel for the video. What a somber group that was. Michelle was much better spoken than I thought she would be as I picture her sitting on her porch waiting for a call. I guess I just haven't heard her speak before.. It did surprise me when she broke in to say for the public to call 911 before calling her if someone knows something. That was odd, but maybe the right thing to be done in the situation. She can't be waiting on the porch for a call every minute.

The disheartening thing was hearing the Chief say they have no viable lead to go on right now even tho they are getting tips in all the time. Bummer.

We need to remember It just takes one little tip, the right one, no matter how inconsequential it seems. xox

Sorry this is going to blow the margins, but this shows that area. There is another map somewhere that shows the park and ride, bridge across the creek there and gvnmt bldgs, Lindsey's house across Mommsen marked in color. Lots of trees, in fact I read if someone is playing in the park you might be able to see them thru the trees from a couple of houses!

From the CBS link, no leads.

And I suddenly don't trust the mother. She keeps saying, "she didn't make it home...in time." Every time there is a hesitation and she she adds the words, "in time." I know, analyzing every word won't help us, but it is still very odd.

Found the first article that releases part of the profile. I think there is a second one, I'll keep looking for it.

ETA: Of course you wouldn't need it, because I actually found it. ~sigh~
Thanks so much for all that extra effort!! :) I will start a profile thread now. We needed it anyway!

ETA: Here is the Profile thread. Please feel free to add to it as LE comes up with more information on their profile and add your own.:

I thought it was "the" Robert too from knowing from the past that he has used his own name when he posts on boards.

You are probably right in saying that he is referring to the industrial area on the l.h. side.

This map shows Rainbow Park (is that a community?) directly north of Beerbower on the r.h. side of the street--is that correct? Then further up there is a 3rd area called Summit Park, railroad line, etc.

I would take that statement to mean the mother is reflecting on when she was expected to be home and to know she never made it. "In time" before something could happen to her. "In time" meaning she believes Lindsey possibly was blowing curfew on purpose or didn't pay attention which caused her to be put in this situation. Make sense?

I am sure the mother feels extreme guilt right now. The "what ifs" must be eating her up inside. She shouldn't go there, but what mother wouldn't? If only she had called? If only I had sent her brother back to get her? If only I had gone to walk her home or watch for her? If only I let her take my cell phone? The list is endless and the torture is pure hell. :(

And no its not Robert, but it is good to see you too! lol :blowkiss:

Editing to add, i "think" its Beerbower park below it anyway..

First of all, thanks seventeenseconds for your kind response to my request.

That being said...

I would request from McCleary or anyone else in the area for some photos

of each side of the 4th to 5th street block in order to determine the

viability of a possible abduction in that area by a local. It would also

be interesting to get names of people who are presently living on that

block. I would sincerely appreciate any help with this request, either

photos or families, or both (tall order, I know, but the idea that she

was grabbed right there just picks on me constantly.

Another consideration that has run across my mind lately is noted in the

map that I have posted. This particular SO is one of 2 very close to

Maple. I have determined the route from his general area as well as

locations that I believe to be important:

Rounders bar - perhaps the closest watering hole for this person.

McClearly indicated that this bar closes early, around 11 pm, so the

general idea of someone leaving Rounders in a car around 9:15 to 9:30 to

me isn't a stretch. As well, the bar probably has off-sales and a gas

station so it's probably a fairly popular one stop for locals.

If this SO took a quick drive into town for some gas and some liquor for

the weekend, he would have passed Maple and 4th both going to and from

the area.

I just decided to share this with you to do with what you wish,

including dismiss the idea completely. It's all in the name of finding

Lindsey.

I went to the dentist today and while under the needle I thought of

Lindsey. It took away any thoughts of needle pricks or pain, she is much

more important than trivials. I really do hope that she is still alive.

Cheers, and I apologize if this information has already been considered.

Map (hope my map upload works right)

I don't know if anyone has brought this up, but since MD is a real estate agent, he would have a lockbox key.

From some research I found this:
Since the box is “reset” just before being placed on the door, any agent who opens the box can be identified – as well as the date and time they entered the house. That information can be downloaded at the local MLS Association. (I'll post the link if it's ok.)

I wonder if LE has looked into MD and if so, checked his where-abouts via that system?

Seems like a REA would have access to a lot of places to hide something/someone and also have seemingly legitimate reasons or excuses to move around freely without anyone thinking much of it. Agents go in many different directions daily as calls come in and clients want to see properties. One could easily fake an appointment, even at some odd hours.

Again, if I missed this being brought up somewhere in an earlier post, please forgive me.
