Jennifer, I know every family on that block, both south and north, and every family is excellent and without trouble, so far, which lends credence to the idea that someone picked Lindsey up with a vehicle, and was not living on the street

....but did they have any friends or family visiting from out of town? Or friends of friends? On another post, I mentioned how a girl in Hanford, CA went to visit her girl friend and never came home. The families knew each other and it appeared the girl had been picked up on her way home....however, there was a fringe relative staying in a camp trailer in the friend's family's driveway who ended up being the 🤬🤬🤬 who abducted her - and ultimately stuffed her in the family kiln! I'll never forget it!

And I'll never rule anything out !

Do you mean the East Fork of Wildcat Creek? It runs up behind the Simpson Door plant?

thanks again JenniferO...that's the map and if I remember correctly, the water runs through the very back of Jim Mullin's property. Except noone could find that he actually owned it. Many times it has been quoted that the kids would go to the forks to swim in the creek. I'm only referencing it 'cause it was searched 6 times and in this crime, that's alot!!!

Don't you dare

Does anyone have a map with the water called 'the forks'? That body of water is where LE searched 6 times. This was discussed on much earlier threads. Mullins was supposed to own it but nobody could show it via maps or real estate. Any place that was searched 6 times in this case must have had suspicious surroundings. mho
There was a map in conjuction with posts about this person, but I don't know what happened to it. It wasn't near the river that was just posted tho.

No, Jims house is on Fir and 6th, that is another creek (Sand Creek) that they searched 6 times. The info over on the "other site" is incorrect. It's not called "the fork" or anything other than Wildcat Creek.

This is off the cuff as there is no link. First, his last name is Mullin with no s at the end. The water that cuts across McCleary is a creek called Sand Creek that empties into Sand Creek Lake I think, or Pond. Much of that creek has to have been culverted off to run thru the city like that IMO, but I believe there are spots where it is an open creek, like under the bridge behind the city buildings and in the treed areas we see on arial photos that follow the cross cut pattern across this small town. I think I read there are 6 bridges in town but have read no particulars about that.

Wherever, the kids tended to congregate more at that bridge area behind the city buildings than they did down off the 200 block of 6th St where Mullin lives with an adjacent field spanning out to the south where the city road, Fir, was never actually paved in.

Both spots both in my radar, the little bridge close to Lindsey's house where I am told kids loved to play and then the property off 6th where an old man, seemingly nice and all, said he missed all the kids playing on his property, It wasn't his property at all but an undeveloped lot with trees showing back behind in the distance. And I have read nothing about this property being a place where the kids of McCleary congregated to play. A bit suspicious? Maybe. I wonder what LE thinks? They had a good go-around with their 6 searches! There is a second structure on that property. I wonder if they took the dogs in there?

When it all comes down, I think we are going to be amazed, and it will be something like what could have happened to her there, down off 6th, that will give us the answer as to what happened to Lindsey!

PS: Any corrections from locals is appreciated.

Ok, I'm seriously disturbed now.

I need to go meditate and clear my head. I'll be back tomorrow to see if Norm answers my questions (I doubt he will).

Good night. I hope sleep comes fast tonight.. and the dreams stay away.

I have wondered if they searched it because they thought she might have drowned or an accident might have occurred there. I'd like to think that they did a thorough job searching it since they went back six times.

Perhaps someone else got ahold of Normcar's computer. My son did that to me once in a chat room many many years ago. I was mortified when I found out!

Scandi, you brought back memories of "Mr. Varney". He was a nice old man who used to give us candy bars when we were kids! He let us cut through his property on the way home from school...a major shortcut! And he never touched us or said anything nasty to us. Kinda makes me have faith in the human race again, now that I think about him!

I'm gonna err on the side of troll. Either Lindsey is alive or there is a sad discovery...can't really be both. Ignore lists are a good thing.

Norm, do you know who lives on Simpson or off it {driveway exit} between 5th and 6th that could have seen her walking along?

the "going through Maple" accidentally becomes the monster, unfortunately, because that could go anywhere
Do you mean she could have gone either to 6th or to Simpson?

I'm remembering what momtective put up on the thread...he was a 69yo pedophile who looked like a trusted old grampa, white hair, short and round. His name is Thomas H. Aaron from Shelton, Wa., he served about six years in prison for violent sexual attacks on 2 little girls (two different girls and times).

He is about 5'6" and 200 lbs., he could also come across as a jolly santa. Momtective called that tip into the police 'cause she traced him to a possible relative on 6th & Fir., or very close by. He could have been visiting family that evening. I hope she also called that tip into the FBI!!! If a pedophile is visiting family in Mccleary and casually bumped into Lindsey over time, I think that would also be an explanation of how she could just disappear...especially in the area of 6th and Fir. I went back to look for his mug shot but couldn't find it. I think he really fits the picture. mho

Not far I think Norm. He would be ready and not waiting!

Wow! That one stuck out in my mind, also!

Oh, but there is a shortcut...If you go across the bridge and through the parking lot near Beerbower Park. ;) You shave off the corner of the Shell station that way.

And with the cameras focused on the pumps and no new info on other cameras operating in the area, she could have easily crossed 3rd and cut across by the bridge, never to be seen again!
