Montesano is called the Bellevue of Grays Harbor. They have compared us to one of the elite cities up near Seattle where houses are high priced and the people are snobbish.

I grew up here so I'm either snobbish so I don't notice that people are snobbish or people aren't really all that snobbish. lol

I remember it well, a really beautiful town. That was back in the mid 70's. Everything looked so well taken care of and I'd sometimes stop to have coffee and a roll while organizing my leads for the day, then head down to Aberdeen where it seemed like everyone was expecting a baby {which involved my work}. xox

eyes and scandi, I don't think the person was after anyone in particular. I think this was a crime of opportunity. It was someone who didn't care who they took. I don't think Lindsey was a "target" I think she was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Yes, I can see that point of view too. And just because she was last seen between 5th and 6th on Maple doesn't mean she didn't make it across 3rd and to the park or bridge. She was out of range of the cameras. If the dogs sniffed her anywhere with a fresh scent they are keeping it close to the vest. Entirely possible IMO

Maybe that is why they think it was an out of towner that comes in once a week or so. They know of noone in their town that could do this. xox

Do any of the motels in McCleary have pools? Maybe one of Lindsey's friend's family owns or operates a motel and that's where they were swimming?

Seems like if her fingernails were pretty long, like her mother or KK's mother (can't remember which) described, she would have broken a nail or two if there was any real struggle. I mean, my nails have always been crappy....never been able to grow my own to a decent length....and even when I have those super strong glue on acrylics I manage to break them doing ordinary stuff....I know for sure that if someone tried to take me against my will that every one of those suckers woulda been knocked off in the struggle. Makes me think that she willingly went (and probably knew) the person who took her.
Another thing that just popped into my head was that if anyone were asked to describe me (in the event that I was missing) the last thing in the WORLD they would think of mentioning would be the length of my fingernails.....seems pretty random to me all of a sudden. Why not talk about hair color, eye color, birth marks, scars, distinguishing features....but they're telling us that "she had long fingernails".....why did that (of all things) stand out in their mind when giving the description??

I believe that was from a "tip/rumor". Someone said they thought they had seen her at the ORV park wearing a pink flowered bathing suit. And someone else said they seen her at Costco (in Olympia) wearing the same thing.

There is only 1 motel in town and it's the original house "grand house" of the town...no pool and not a lot of amenities.

a week or two after Lindsey disappeared the info came out that she has long nails and would have scratched her abductor or left some wounds. I think that info was given to the public so one could look for scratches and bruises...two weeks late!? Pretty sure that's why the info came to the media's attention.

Other information that can either be ignored or checked by others is as follows: "AC" (initials of owner of property) - 211 W Maple - South side of Maple has a mailing address other than this house which means she probably rents it out to tenants. Phone listing shows name Les H Meadows Sr.

I am not suggesting anything negative about Mr. Meadows, just offering information that has been give to me. My source is not suggesting anything by providing this information.

Wildcat Road isn't really all that heavily wooded...the houses on the far eastern side of the road butt up against timber company property that was planted and is actually pretty clean underneath, but everything else around it is pretty clear. There isn't really access into the woods unless you live right along them as many of the yards are fenced. And the creek runs through the woods not too far from the loop.

As a side note: looking at mapquest and other map sites you can see a triangular shaped clearing just north of wildcat loop and south of 108...that's no longer an empty field, there's now a very large garage and house on the property...they have recently been finished.

Thank you for these coastal, I have seen these photos before. When I saw them I thought that LB and even JB look younger than they look in other photos. Can anyone help out with this? Are these photos a few years old?

I do not see long fingernails.
There is an angle to that pool. Maybe more of a commercial pool as opposed to residential. Although here in So. Cal. we have every shape.
If these pictures were taken the same day, the children were indoors at some point, as seen in pic two. There is a cross on top of something-a piano or sideboard or something. Not hanging on the wall. Looks more like a home than a hotel or vacation spot.

I was noticing the cross and whatever that is on the wall. I would really, really like to know where that pic was taken and by whom. This pic sets my hinky meter off.


ETA: I was looking at the larger pic and that does not look like a private home where the pic was taken. Could it be a church fellowship hall or something? The wall and hallway behind them look commercial to me. I don't think it is a church because it would not be proper for her brother to be without a shirt and Lindsey in a swimsuit.
