Sorry if this has been discussed----but who/what/ was the person involved with her at age 12? What happened to them? Is it possible that they are so rageful about that humiliation that they did this murder?

No, that guy was busy...in jail at that time.

Well, if MC was, in fact, in Target......then LE has video and possibly video from the parking lot. THAT, offers me a little relief. If someone was with her, he is likely on video. I suspect he may have been and that is why MC turned around and did not stay there.
I wonder what she was going in there for if she wasn't going to see J.??

As I said, J knew nothing about anyone else. MC did not talk much when she was with J. However; MC and WC were not getting along. Lots of arguing, but the argument could be made (nice, huh?) that most 17 year old daughters and Mom's have issues, so that, in itself, isn't so unnatural. MC did not like JF. She thought he was a jerk. However, MC never spoke to J about any kind of a relationship between herself and JF. She never said anything to J about a (rumored) rape. He has no idea if she was doing any kind of drugs.

Two things really stick out at me...

"His feelings (rumored) are that she was living a double life."
And
"MC did not like JF. She thought he was a jerk."

If this is coming from a person who has come to believe she was living a double life, could that mean those last two statements are the exact opposite?

Edited to Add: This would give credence to the RUMOR a few threads back that WC, JF, and MC were all together while shopping for a new truck for JF, and it appeared MC was there with JF. As I recall, this RUMOR was worse than secondhand, but with the RUMOR that "she was living a double life" it might make more sense now.

Throw in a sentence from your other post:

HOWEVER: JF's main area of business for many years was Quincy and CB. He knows the area extremely well.

This I find is an extremely big deal. Someone had to know of Crescent Bar property.

Plus anyone coming over to Tacoma I wouldn't think would have a tie to the crime scene, wherever it was in the Wenatchee area, so what would be the point of moving the body?

Target does capture great video! I just can't imagine anyone going to their boyfriend's place of work, with the guy they're sneaking around with. KWIM?

Perhaps Mackenzie was supposed to meet up with T-guy and never made it, due to her killer interceding?

RUMOR:

Around the time MC was found, someone mentioned to me that MC met up with a guy (or guys?) from Tacoma. I'm not absolutely sure, but I think I remember this person mentioning more than 1 person. I kinda shrugged it off as just some silly rumor.. It's so weird how I'm reading all this Tacoma stuff now!

Perhaps....Killer, himself, started the rumor about an online Tacoma guy coming to Wenatchee that day. That way it takes the focus off him??? Who knows? It's all speculation until proven factual.

I don't usually read the "details" of gang murders but it doesn't seem like a gang would put out the effort to mutilate. I would think their "initiation" rites would be pretty primitive ---I mean they would probably kill with a weapon (boot, gun, knife) and then leave. Again this crime has so much rage in it, so much effort to dump car and body in 2 diff. places, so much time put in.

.........the (rumor of) the knife left in the body really trips me out. That seems VERY VERY VERY rageful. Not like an initiation rite or random stranger. That is the most disturbing thing I have read so far in all of the rumors---and there is a lot of distress described on here! It seems like a final forever insult to a person to leave that there----and it also smacks of territorial marking to me. I get it that that detail is a rumor but wow...........it is going to be in my thoughts for a long time...............cringing.......................

Well, if anybody had a motive, it would be J...........but he's somewhat like RC.........everybody says he is a stand up guy and loved her with all his heart and is devastated. NOBODY seems to think he could have done this.

Well, if there is no car wash passenger info, or video, hopefully there is a Target video. When you walk into Target, the camera is on you. But, I am guessing MC walked in to Target, alone. I hope the parking lot has cameras. I'll look tomorrow.

I recall a story of a 20 year old in TX, kidnapped from her car, in the Wal Mart parking lot,and killed, about 3-4 years ago. Since, then, Wal Mart and other stores have added video cameras in their parking lots.

Didn't MC bf get off work at 4 pm that day, and they sent the "Hey" text at 3:37 pm or so. Wasn't this text from the boat launch? Then the bf said she came into the store and saw him, turned around and left? Unless she went there before the text. Does it make sense?

Absolutely! If you read all the posts on the cell phone ping and signals vs cell phone towers in the area and all the variations that go into the science of pinpointing a location, IIRC the best it was thought they could do was like a 15 mile radius. So, Target is right in there.

However; I would have to go back and re read all of them too, but I don't think I'll get to it tonight! I mean this morning. I gotta go call 911. Somebody stole an hour from my house!

But you'd heard that J wasn't aware that (RUMOR) Mackenzie might have been seeing someone else. Unless he really did know, and it's part of his cover-up. Jealousy could lead to rage. Devastation could be out of guilt, IF he is guilty of anything, imo. (Speculation, as he is not my main POI at this point.)
