WA - Mackenzie Cowell, 17, Wenatchee, 9 Feb 2010 - #7

I don’t know if this is related; however, there is a person on the sexual predator list, who lives close to where Mackenzie’s car was found and there is someone with a similar name on the jail list, sorry if this is old info.

My first instinct-gut feeling, about this murder case was, that a sexual predator was responsible. Maybe a lot of people thought that, too.

Uh yes!! This leaves me feeling quite uneasy. How many other things have they not collected because it didn't appear to be part of the case? I'm trying to keep faith but little things like this worry me. Finding who did this isn't what I am scared of. Convicting someone is!!!

Exactly. And, possibly only her phone was "at" or "near" the boat launch.

After all of the conversation, I'm again thinking about motive. What could she have known/said/or done that would result in such a tragic and brutal ending. What we know thus far, it is someone close to her. Apparently someone that she called and/or was texting with.

ETA: This is based on the LE saying it was not an abduction.

I didn't, but then again I didn't even know what one was until today. I did notice that spray painted yellow B. I didn't stick around too long though- my husband was on the hill the whole time- was too scared/paranoid to come down with me, lol. :chicken:

IMO, i think LE came out with that so quickly because they had a poi or something pointing them in the direction of who did it and since it was someone close to her, i don't think they wanted the public to panic that a rapist was on the loose.

Yeah but isn't it better to be safe than sorry? I would have thought they would have collected everything in the area just to make sure nothing was missed. :detective:

I agree... this is why this bored housewife is diligently sleuthing for MC.. I'm afraid they might miss something

I would like to hear other people's theories on what happened to MC. We seem to get a little more information every day and today got a lot from del rio.
Who are the main POI? WC, JF, ex bf, guy from Tacoma???

There are a couple JS's. If this guy is an RSO - we can say his name. We may have looked at him awhile back? I'm trying to remember but none of the names I'm seeing ring a bell.

James Smith, his age is 40 and the person in jail is much younger. Not the same guy. I think I need some sleep. To be honest this case is keeping me up at night.
