Found Deceased WA - Matthew Rozario, 22, Mount Vernon, 24 December 2016

Matthew Rozario

Rozario was last seen on 12/24/2016 at approximately 7:45 AM when his father was driving him to his home in Mount Vernon. He had been drinking and claimed to be under the influence of drugs. He then made the comment repeatedly that "Everything is bad." Rozario attempted to exit the moving vehicle, which was southbound on Interstate 5. His father exited the freeway at Anderson Rd in Mount Vernon and Rozario fled despite repeated attempts by his father to get him back in the car.

Oh no, what a scary situation. That sounds pretty bad and he's been missing for almost a month now already...

I'm in that area regularly and am always keeping an eye out for him. It's been so cold and he's been gone much too long! I hope he has a warm place to stay -- and that he'll find his way home very soon.

In that middle picture he looks so much older than his actual age.

I have a gut feeling this man may be suffering from mental health problems (a male in his early 20s always makes me think of possible schizophrenia, we've seen many cases like this on here). Also the possible self-medicating. I fear this could be a suicide honestly.

According to a post from the admin this past August on his missing Facebook page, he is still missing and a private investigator hasn't found any leads. However, the family's DNA is now in a national database so if Matthew's remains are located, he can be identified.

He is still missing. One of my sisters knows Matt quite well. There have been no leads or sightings.

Right now, we don't know. I wish we did but it seems he vanished without a trace.

We got an update on March 5th. His remains were recovered near where he went missing.

I have thought about him and his family so many times while driving through that area. A very sad ending. I'm glad his family and friends finally have some answers and my thoughts are with them.

this is so odd, his disappearance was same year and similar circumstances as logan schiendelman just a few hours south.
