Michael Hissom was aboard the fishing vessel Kismet in August 1994. He got into an argument with the captain on August 4 and exited the boat in Ilwaco, Washington early that morning. He has never been heard from again.

San Diego County, California authorities are investigating his disappearance. He is 5'6" to 5'9", 185 pounds, has brown shoulder length hair, a mustache, and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a cross on the web of his hand. His middle name may also be spelled Dewayne or Duane.

It seems quite similar, but it's been 5 years and nothing has been said about this case... surely when he argued with the captain it wasn't a simple argument... maybe he got very angry and told the captain to go to hell... or it could be that the latter retaliated against Michael...
