Hi Everyone - I submitted this to LE. They responded quickly and said they would check into this lead. Hoping to hear back soon.

This is a sketch released by Lewis County, Washington authorities last week. It is a reconstruction of the facial features of skeletal human remains found on a logging road in April outside of Morton, WA. The small town is located about two hours south of Seattle. The remains are believed to be of a young woman of “small stature,” “possible mixed ethnicity,” and estimated to be in her 20s or 30s. It has haunted me the past four nights as I toggle back and forth obsessively between the artist’s rendering and the vivid, flesh-and-blood photos of my missing cousin, Marizela.

She is listed as Caucasian, but looks almost Asian. I'm tempted to think it's Marizela, but her facial shape is too different. The timeline is right though.

Marizela Perez

Since jwpmoyer didn't mention it in the previous post, Marizela Perez has been ruled out as being this unidentified decedent according to Marizela's cousin, Michelle Malkin.

Sorry, I was being conservative. What I understood was a preliminary rule-out, pending radiographs.

I would be quite surprised if this isn't Claudette based on the rendition of the decedent. But it can also be true that the recreations can sometimes be slightly off - so we'll only know once further investigation is complete.

How sad...mom of four and "she had just given birth 2 weeks prior to her disappearance and may have been emotionally unwell due to CFS taking away her newborn baby. She is also addicted to crack cocaine and was working as a prostitute to supply her habit."

Two weeks after the birth of your baby, the world shouldn't be this way.

I know - I was sad after reading that too. She is a beautiful girl...

I would hate for it to be so, because I know her mother a little bit, but then again there would be closure, too. Does anyone know who I woud contact to ask them to look into this?

You can call the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office at (360) 748-9286 or Crime Stoppers (if you wish to remain anonymous) at 1-800-748-6422.

I've received a response from LE that this is most likely not Claudette (they are still waiting on records from Interpol however):

We are waiting for records from Interpol, but from what the detective said my remains are not Claudette.

Has anyone called in Kelsey as a possibility?

cocomod - I tried calling the crime stoppers line and even though someone answered they were basically an answering service for after hours calls. I haven;t been able to call during regular hours because of work, though, so if anyone else can ai would greatly appreciate it.

Has no one yet contacted them about this UID possible match of Kelsey Collins? If no one has yet, then I will do it tomorrow (Wed.). I live in the area also.

This morning I submitted the possibility of Kelsey Collins to the case manager for this UID.
Response below.

thank you, cj, I really appreciate it! I just wish the phone numbers were open later, as I cannot call about this while at work. This girl deserves her name back, and Emily's mom needs to know what happened to her daughter :-(
