I stated in this thread that none of the girls mentioned were Somali. Her DNA test showed she was Somali. They are a clan/tribe based people. Having looked through Namus there was never a Somali woman missing except one who drowned with her bf on a boat.
Also they are incredibly Muslim. If she drank, did drugs, or was a sex worker sadly she would have been shunned/ostracized from her community. They wouldn't think she's missing, just off to be an 'American'.
I have many connections to the Somali community in Washington and myself and many others have been asking people around for more info.
Sounds like the cousin match worked.
Although that's usually not much to go on. Because they community sticks together from a dna standpoint that must have made it so much harder...
