Detectives with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office have been provided with an artist’s sketch in which they hope will help them identify the human remains found near Morton in April.

The remains were discovered off Highway 12 by a motorist who had pulled off the highway to take a break. As he got out of his car in the rural, wooded area, he noticed skeletal remains off the side of the road.


This is about 60 miles from Tenino and the article notes the woman had a small stature. I really think it could be Nancy. Drawing at link...

Pretty sure this person has been excluded as Nancy. All unidentified female remains are probably ran against her DNA. She is listed in NamUs ... https://www.findthemissing.org/cases/2020/0/

I emailed Det. Haller tonight, I'll let you know when he responds.

I saw that on the other thread and posted there. It would be so nice to find closure for some family...why don't people report their missing so we can help them?

It is very sad. Sad that a person can be in their own home, answer the door or go to their porch and vanish. There is just way too much of this.

No closure for the family and some is getting away with it.

for possible inclusion in Investigation Discovery show in its 5th
season.

Disappeared follows real missing persons cases through the eyes of the
families and investigators who work tirelessly to find these people.

We are looking for people willing to be interviewed on camera, to tell
their story and all of the steps that have been taken in their search,
as well as be willing to discuss their personal relationships with the
missing person in order to help us tell the whole story. We're looking
for unresolved cases and those that have been resolved and involved
extensive searches.
