State Patrol issues endangered missing person alert for Bothell toddler

The Washington State Patrol issued anendangered missing person alert for a 16-month-old girl Wednesday morning.

WSP said the child was taken from their legal guardian's home around 1:30 a.m.

"There is concern for the safety and welfare of the child," the alert posted on social media said.

A woman named Jessica Angelica Bassett was arrested by Bothell police on the 10th of April on a Gross Misdomeanor and released from jail the following day. Inmate Detail - BASSETT, JESSICA ANGELICA. Jessica Angelica Basset had a domestic violence case in 2021 with a petition for an order of protection.

I'm just assuming this is her biological child and she lost custody which is why it states that she was taken from her legal guardian vs. her home.

This is what I believe as well. Bothell is in both King and Snohomish Counties. I was able to search King County for civil/criminal records and found what I already posted but Snohomish charges $100 to view records online (yearly fee though you can view them free if you visit the courthouse). So I don' know if there were any custody records for this child or any previous children in the system for that court.
