Hey there! So, we get posters from all walks of life and one of the biggest WS rules is all statements need to be backed up with links and sources. If they're not, they need to be very clearly identified as an opinion. But sometimes we're lucky enough to see family, close friends or trained and educated professionals. If you're interested, we employ a verification process to recognize these people with extra knowledge or insight. If you're interested, please contact at [email protected] with your Websleuths name, your real name, the case, a telephone number, and the times when you can be reached.Hello. It's taken me quite some time to find any info. I've tried looking through archives for newspapers. I'll have to look at the one above. I didn't know her first name till today. Looked up the marriage license. Always thought it was Eleanor. She was my grandmother. No one in my family will talk about it. Only in last year did my Dad really ever talk about her. I was surprised to see the report though, as the version of the details I had were a little different. Could be my misunderstanding, could be a difference in remember by those whom this traumatized. Wondered if by providing DNA to a geanology site if that would help figure out what became of her. All I ever knew as a kid was a single black and white photo. I was under the premise she had died. But the story I was told, is she just walked out of those house one day. But that house would not have been in Duval. The one shown is the Bright family property which I'm very familiar. But my understanding was they lived in North Bend, off of North Fork rd at the time. But I could be wrong on that. I've always been too afraid to bring it up to anyone. Seems to be too painful of a chapter for anyone in the family old enough to relive.
If you would prefer not to be verified, that's completely understandable, just please understand you'll continue to be required to follow the general rules for posting, and back up statements with links to appropriate sources
