I just watched the news where a man was arrested with bow and arrows near the Capital in DC. I swear this man looks a lot like Travis Decker to me.

It is a man, with similar eye shape and facial hair colour, but that's about it IMO: taller, skinnier, super long hair and lacking the arm tattoos :)

Ok, I'll admit I was looking at the face more than anything else.

Different eyebrows too - but definitely a similar type. Jawline is covered by hair, but I don't think Travis could cover those tattoos easily. Still, with a long sleeved shirt on, Travis can change his hair length, eyebrows, facial hair, etc.

I tend to think he's dead back in Washington State. Not allowed to apply the word I'd use for this guy. Truly a monster.

Dirty clothes and general unkempt appearance give off certain first impressions too, imo. Maybe wishful thinking too? But no, it's not him.

Good points, all...

I have to wonder if he killed himself/intended to pretty soon after killing his & his ex-wife's sweet innocent daughters, why "go elsewhere" to do so?

Why not just do it relatively nearby to their bodies, his trail which could have been followed by either kind of dogs perhaps (scent & cadaver) leading to his body within X amount of time?

Following this train of thought/hypothesizing re my own honest question, perhaps you all whose intuition is leading you to surmise he has died at his own hand, would one reason be because he didn't want to be found, to add to the horrific tragedy he wrought to leave his ex-wife forever grieving & wondering where he is with no closure?

Perhaps he jumped into the icy water flowing rapidly downstream to make it next to impossible to track him, and his corpse is gone forever.

Or

Perhaps he has gone off the grid forever to live a hermit/mountain man's existence or into homeless communities or rogue territory where people running from the law coexist.

JMM (just my musings), sincerely hope he is found soon (this summer) dead or alive...

I think the river atm. It’s the only possibility if he hasn’t been found nearby.

That's what I have thought all along that TD escaped by a waterway so the dogs couldn't track him. I also have wondered if he had another vehicle parked somewhere to leave town.

A motorcycle is easy to stash in underbrush.

This man is shorter and bulkier.

I think Travis tends to stay on the cleaner side when he can.

Didn’t he used to have one he allegedly sold a while back or am I imagining that?

I hadn't heard that, but driving a truck all the is expensive so having an old motorcycle, maybe not evn registered makes a lot of sense in the area.

That was a long, uncomfortable, handshake.
It seems so desperate to me for some reason... like this was his last grasp and hanging on.. to a stranger even.. almost not to want to let go. MOO... I feel like this event might've been the cruncher.

It all came tumbling down after this, as if it he thougth it sealed his fate in his mind. Everything coming to a head.. so sad he felt no way but to take it out on his children :(

Wow. Never considered he would have a motorcycle stashed. Seems LE also did not consider this since they spent their time in the woods. Obviously, if he did that, he's long gone from the area.

Yes, we should never forget the man had a 3 day head start on LE (5/30 v 6/2).

And I'll never understand, until they tell us, why on earth LE only presumed TD ran into the woods.

Even a mountain bike stuffed into the back of his truck could get him far. Anything gas powered would need refueling, meaning visibility and $$.

Perhaps because there was a lack of mountain bike tracks in the vicinity. Although I suppose he could have tried outsmarting LE by carrying it far enough away before riding off on it. JMO

Either he made brilliant survival moves or he's no longer around. 50-50 IMO.
