Like it or not, funding for anything requires regulation (laws), otherwise there is no way to be sure funds are being used for workable, meaningful solutions and goals.

We can either sit back and do nothing because "more laws are bad!", and have more death, destruction, and broken lives, or we can put funding and yes, laws and regulations in place to be sure that those who need care receive it, keep mass-killing weapons out of their hands, and thus save some lives.

Last 2 days been a shock in terms of lock-downs and drills and kids across our land rehearsing for when killers come into their lives. It truly is a disgrace for this nation.

And then, it occurred to me I do not have kids that is why I have been stunned at all this type of cr@p. I follow this nonsense – but until I f found the You Tube video, yesterday, showing what a damn “lock-down drill” was just clueless.

It just never occurred to me that kids everywhere are “practicing “ hiding in dark rooms, afraid to breathe pulling down blinds etc. etc. etc.

Then just now I see this: pitiful shame on us……………this is violent (at 2:05)in and of itself IMO.

It is an abomination

This guy was actively psychotic at the time. (see below)

. Often they are also seeing things at the same time. Medication noncompliance is a component of the illness itself – lack of insight , judgment, capacity to remember dosing, funding to go to doc, drive to the pharmacist. In mental issues it is not the same as someone “refusing” to take there meds.

Can we just fund long term care?

By and large, the American public doesn't like to fund anything except prisons and bombs, unfortunately.

CCTV footage released of Seattle Pacific University shooting

AS AARON Ybarra fired his first round of bullets at students at Seattle Pacific University, he thought, “Oh my God, it’s so fun”.

CCTV footage (above) of the shooting was released on Tuesday showing the final three minutes of Ybarra’s rampage; from storming the Otto Miller Hall, to shooting a female student, to the moment he was disarmed and subdued with pepper spray.

It’s a chilling insight into the terror faced by victims of mass shootings, and those forced to make split second decisions with the threat of death looming at every corner.
