Her dad died in 2015 ( https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/spokesman/name/nick-faber-obituary?id=14152049). and he was also in Spokane thus I suppose family-wise the location remains Spokane. JMO
Maybe she has other acquaintances in Seattle ? According to the above information, she was trying to get back to Spokane.

Her FB has mostly posts of people trying to get in touch with her, worried about her. I live in Chicago and I always felt a lot safer in Seattle on my own than here, but crime statistics still show Seattle has an upswing in certain types of crimes. Yes, I am born and raised in Seattle. It is a safe city. You are highly unlikely to be a victim of a violent crime here. The article you referenced calls Seattle “a low homicide city”. I’d feel less safe in Spokane, which is on the very bottom of the list of safest cities in WA (only above Tukwila). Statistically, she’s safer in Seattle than Spokane.

Understand But if we put general comments re crime in a specific area and it's not based on linked "facts" the mods may delete it. But those living in an area know better than anyone. I regulaly have people aghast that I travel in Chicago after dark, but living here, I know what areas I'm pretty safe in, and what areas, which on the surface would look safe, but aren't.

I hope Rachelle is just staying with a friend, out of touch, and is safe.
