A witness told sheriff's officials that Robinson was concerned in the months leading up to her death that she was being stalked by a young man, who followed her to and from her job at a fast-food restaurant and showed up at other places where she was... The man is described as white, 25 to 30, 5'10", 170 pounds, with brownish-blond hair and acne. He walked with a slouch and may have worked for a glass company."

Johnston's car was found in Spanaway about five miles from the murder site and a mile from where Robinson lives, Benson said. Police think the two met there and left in her car, Benson said.
