YAKIMA, Wash. Police are asking for assistance in finding a 3-year-old child whos been missing since Friday.
The child, Romeo Martinez, was taken from his mother by his presumed father after a fight, according to a release from the Yakima Police Department. Police say the presumed father, Rico Salgado, may be homeless and could be under the influence of intoxicants.
Salgado also reportedly made suicidal statements during the fight with the boys mother, the release said.
The child is believed to be wearing the same parka from the photograph, the release said. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call 9-1-1 to make a report.
