Ruthie was last seen in Parkland, Washington on February 7, 2011. She placed a call that day from Paradise Bowling Alley. She has never been heard from again and is considered to be endangered.

Police still searching for missing woman

Auburn police are still looking for a 21-year-old woman who seemed to vanish into thin air more than six months ago, and so far they have no clue where she is.

She has no cell phone and was homeless the last time anyone heard from her. Family members have heard reports or rumors that she’s dead, but police say there is no evidence to indicate that those rumors are true.

Her family is looking for her and offering a reward on the Facebook page for anyone who brings Ruthie home. So sad! I wish there were more clues .

the 'page you requested was not found.' Wondering if the family may have already taken it down???

Friends and family members are asking for the public’s help in locating a 21-year-old Parkland woman who has not been seen in more than a year.

Bumping this up. This case needs more attention from LE and the press. A comment under the article posted above states the Pierce County Sheriff's Office has refused to take the case. You would think that law enforcement agencies in Washington State, of all places, (the hunting ground of Gary Ridgway, the green river killer) would be more responsive to the dissapearence of young women with her history. Her being Native American probably doen't help, either. (charleyproject has her listed as caucasian, but the news articles report her as native, and she looks native to me)

I feel that something terrible has happened to her, but I certainly hope that I am wrong!!

Found out about Ruthie when looking around regarding missing Maureen Kelly- 2 beautiful young women both missing from WA~

Is it my imagination or does WA seem to have a high number of missing teens and women?
Has anyone noticed a pattern at all? Age? Hair color etc..?

her Charley Project profile (link above) states that she was a student at Cal State University Northridge at the time she disappeared. I cannot find any other info about her traveling or possibly living in California.

As someone familiar with the area, the fact that she was last seen at a bowling alley is actually a red flag. Most bowling alleys in Western WA aren't just bowling alleys but actually bowling alleys/casinos/poker rooms. This one appears to be a bowling alley/nightclub. In looking at the google reviews, there is a complaint about the staff allowing creepy individuals to loiter there.

Ruthie went missing in a slightly different area down in Parkland but because reports say she frequented Federal Way and Milton, I think these cases could all be connected. It's really sad that Ruthie's case hasn't gotten more attention.

From 2008- November 2010 (3 months before she went missing) she has a hand full of municipal records. What is more telling is that in that timeframe she also has three separate domestic violence court records with some protection orders with two different men. The two more recent ones are with a guy who is 35 years her senior. I really can’t tell from how the records appear who the aggressor was in those cases but I do find this pattern leading up to her disappearance quite troubling.

These cases are in different courts but all within Pierce County so it makes you wonder if the Sheriff's office not wanting to take on her case is because they already knew something.

Interestingly, in 2008 she has a record in Nampa, Idaho. This older guy from the Washington records went to high school in Caldwell.

Her facebook page has updates up until January 2011 just before she went missing. Then oddly there is one further update about her graduating from Cal State Northridge that appears to be from 2015, but when you look further actually says it was added Jan 2016. Wonder who had access to her page to add that?

Sorry, how do you mean automatically updated? How would facebook automatically add in that she graduated from a certain school - and do so randomly four years after she last logged in to her page? Not doubting you, I just don't understand how that works.

My only guess would be that when she entered her school information there could have been options of start date and expected graduation date that she filled in. When the expected graduation date came Facebook automatically updated accordingly. I'm not positive if that's how that works though.
