Her family and the local communities have been searching and posting fliers everywhere from the Canadian border, to Oregon and even to Montana. I would like to mention that it was very likely Sara was on medication for bipolar as it's hard to live without with that particular diagnosis and if anything would be telling, it would be her psych prescriptions being left behind. a young woman being on birth control (regardless of whether she is or isnt) is not an implication of *anything* since theres an extensive list of reasons outside of sex/relationships that women stay on it

Also: according to the family, prescription medication/birth control was not on the list of things on her person when she went missing. The only thing of significance was her legal documents. Apart from that, she had a pink cross body bag, some makeup/makeup brushes, a hair brush, and a camera bag with a camera in it

I get what you are saying, but that could literally be anywhere. She's been missing long enough that she could be anywhere in the country, theoretically in other countries if she got on a boat.

If she didn't get on a mode of transport herself (hopped on a bus, Amtrak, a plane, or tried hitchhiking) - then she would have had to be picked up by the perp, which probably narrows down the search area a bit.

According to Spokane Police Sergeant Terry Preuninger, the Major Crimes Unit has been in contact with an attorney representing McNease and confirmed she is safe. He later told KREM 2 she was found in California and as of 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, she was still there.

Preuninger said there is no indication that a crime was committed.

He said we won't likely learn any other information about the case because no crime was committed and McNease is a juvenile.

If she’s retained an attorney, I think this could mean one of three things. Either her home life wasn’t safe and doesn’t want to be sent back, whoever she’s with wants to keep her in CA for potentially nefarious purposes or she’s worried about being charged with a crime. I’m hoping for her sake that it’s the first option, but honestly none of them are great.

I would guess it was deleted because she’s retained an attorney and the case has been resolved from a LE standpoint.

And if she's a minor, doesn't LE HAVE to return her to her family?

She’s likely petitioning for emancipation and is going to be 18 soon. I think she’s got outside support.
