I think Quinn is still alive. She got arrested this past summer in Sunnyvale, CA.
Oh, wow, okay, so not Quinn, then. Great to hear she's alive.

Always useful to know who it isn't. Onwards and upwards.

Actually they should remove Quinns missing person information, it is confusing. Quinn is obviously alive

I always wonder how many people on Namus just never got their file removed. I’ve seen a few instances on here where people search up a name and find activity suggesting someone is alive and well.

According to the newest interview with Colleen Fitzpatrick and Grays Hughes from 5 days ago, this case is now undergoing genetic genealogy with Identifinders. They’ve found high cM matches in Kentucky but there’s lots of interrelatedness in that population which is making it hard to build out a family tree. They’re trying to focus on matches from outside of the state now.

They talk about it at about 10 minutes in.

Completely unrelated to this person but about 1 or 2 minutes after she finishes talking about them Colleen Fitzpatrick casually says that for one of the other Identifinders cases they’ve “had for a while” the parents of the unidentified person are brother and sister? She doesn’t name the actual UID but does anyone know who it could be? I feel like that’s a crazy thing to mention in passing.

That's wild! Identifinders don't seem to have a list of the cases they're working on anywhere that I could find. I would think it quite likely that in the case of incest (whether consensual or abuse) the child would be more likely to have been given up for adoption, in which case it'll be much more tricky to identify them.

Great news that this lady is undergoing genetic genealogy though. Reminds me of Pamela Leigh Walton, the trans woman found in Florida in 1988. She was also from Kentucky originally. Parts of Kentucky probably aren't very friendly towards trans people. Seems like both Pamela and this lady may have left unsupportive family to find greener grass, only to pass away.

I wonder if it's one of the infant Doe cases they're working on.

I'm so happy about this! I still think about this person often. It does seem likely that she came out from Kentucky to find a better life in Seattle but didn't have a safety net or a place to land here, that explains a lot about why no one here has been able to ID her. A lot of trans people migrate here, especially in recent years 🥲
