He was identified as Raymond Claude Mainer and is now in NamUs Unclaimed - UCP147732

Circumstances of Recovery Decedent was admitted to Virginia Mason Hospital under alias Robert Miller; however, reportedly the decedent's legal name was Raymond Claude Mainer. In 2014, the investigation was not able to confirm that the decedent's legal name was Mainer and the decedent was buried under the name Robert Miller AKA Raymond Claude Mainer. In 2025, identification of Mainer was confirmed and an unclaimed persons case is created to locate any NOK for notification.

I don't think the 1946 date is correct, though. From what I can find, he was born in 1940 in Glendale, California. There are no records for him after his divorce in 1977.

Interestingly, his brother Roland is also in ClaimUS, which suggests to me that the family may not be very close.

The death records information in that screenshot comes from the individual's death certificate. The person who usually provides the information for a death certificate is an established medical record or a family member who knows the deceased's birthdate but in a case like this, that information likely wasn't available so a best guess was entered based on the limited information the hospital had when he died.
