MISSING PERSON - FEARED TO BE A VICTIM OF FOUL PLAY

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to locate Shantel Holznagel, who has been missing under suspicious circumstances since August of 2018.

Shantel Holznagel was reported missing in October of 2018, after her family failed to see or hear from her for several weeks. The last known communication from Holznagel was on Thursday August 9, 2018, when she reportedly messaged a friend that she needed help.

Detectives have received information that there were rumors that Shantel Holznagel was assaulted by unknown person(s) at an unknown location. Detectives are concerned that Holznagel may have been a victim of foul play and are looking for any information on her whereabouts and the rumored assault.

At the time of her disappearance Shantel Kae Holznagel was a 29 year old white female, 5’7” tall, 150 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. She has several tattoos including the words “Angel face” on her back and an image of a diamond on her left ankle.

"Detectives said they’ve been told Holznagel might have been assaulted, but have no details on the attack."

“We’re comparing this case to other missing girls and recently recovered females,” sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said. “There’s a possibility that there’s foul play.”

Well, her FB doesn't show any of the tattoos, the most recent profile appears to have been made private, so we are unable to see her photos or friends. Why would her family not report her missing for 2 months? If she texted for "help", why didn't someone turn it in? There are some photos from 2010 that were provocative, but it does show a different side to her. What were the circumstances surrounding her disappearance? Was she with a friend? Getting off of work/school? Looks like she used to work at Red Robin...maybe a disgruntled customer?
So many questions...

It's so hard for family,and friends of someone who live that life. Contact is sparatic to say the least. So they might not have known anything was amiss until after the fact.
I have an ex friend who is out there in it. She had horrific time in Tacoma still she's back out there.
So many people tried helping her.
It doesn't hurt any less when something bad happens to them.
I pray for her family,and hope they find her alive.

The fact that she texted at 7am for her friend to get her ASAP indicates to me that someone showed up where she was, or she possibly woke up somewhere other than where she was supposed to. My gut reaction is she is being held somewhere. Those tattoos might be some type of brand, and whoever associates with a particular tattoo (mostly on the back or inner thigh) would be the person to talk to, imo.

Any possibility of an intervention abduction? Was she associated with any biker groups? Religious organizations? Cult-type groups? Was the friend she texted male or female? Was she involved in any ongoing cases? (as in: witness)
Why would someone want her removed from the current picture?

Pierce County Sheriff's deputies say Shantel Holznagel was found last night by the King County Sheriff’s Office at grocery store. Initially, she gave a fake name to the deputy and then said she did not want to go home. She is no longer considered a missing person.
