Newbie question, I'm afraid...

Is it standard procedure for LE to NOT release copies of the photos to press? They have to take photos/video of the board to utilize in their releases - wouldn't that diminish the quality of the pics? Kinda like making a photocopy of a photocopy of a fax?

I think sometimes they don't release photos if they think keeping them will give them clues that they don't want a suspect or POI to know about. Perhaps they just got these... or... they're slowly releasing info to get subtle messages to Julia that they know more about her activities that she may have thought they did.

This document broke my heart. I really feel for SM, after reading his words.

Child support AND "spousal maintenance?!" And she's keeping his kids from him?! What is he "maintaining" there for her?

Does anyone know if JB was employed in the past 9 months? We know she was, uhhhh, looking for a "job." A high-paying one at that. But, what was he paying her for? To lambast him in court and with the public, to refuse visits with his kids, turn his kids against him, accuse him of abuse, take him to court for a late payment he promptly paid?

On another note: they don't want to release the locations of the video. To me that must be to protect the integrity of the case.

So, they want untainted witnesses? Or are they sending Julia a final message directly: gotchya? And by not releasing the locations, it would make it easier for her to slip up and try and cover her tracks with lies when finally questioned?

I wondered those things too.

I want to know - was that pic in the grey sweatsuit taken at the gas station that morning? That pic looks like she's dirty, and in FULL PANIC mode. Just curious about the timing.

This PC, unlike the earlier ones, seems to make a VERY clear impression they know it's her. In the past he's been a little more circumspect - in this one, it's like, "call in the tip that nails her".

It may be that they simply don't want to go to the expense and effort of duplicating those photos - LE knows all these guys have great cameras, here are the pics, come take your own photos.

They're not having to work to get media attention on this case - the media is quite willing to pick up the task of photographing the poster.

I'm sure they have them in digital form. It would take a minute to put them up on a website for the press and public.

Wow. Great extended coverage on KIRO. They just finished and stated there would be more in about an hour on their normal news at 5 PM.

I have said since couple days in this LE is "playing Julia" and made it clear there was no fun and games involved in the type strategic and methodical "playing" they are and having been doing where she's concerned..*

IMOO.. Again.. Moo.. Moo .. And all that.. Not only is there an obvious motive for releasing these photos today in the presser but I'll go a step further and state what I believe is possibly contained and captured in the photos that we saw strategically displayed publically today..moo.. But LE has likely somehow narrowed down and zeroed in on the exact moment Sky was last seen alive.. I believe that is represented in the photos as well as I believe it "could be" possible that the photos of Julia taken on surveillance may just be representing the exact time(or in the close vicinity meaning the exact day) that Julia had disposed of/handed off Sky(according to what your opinion is on what happened to Sky).. I believe there is a reason why Julia looks shaken up, upset, out of sorts in the surveillance photo.. I think LE combed the videos to capture just the right screen shot they wanted to use in their strategically releasing these photos today.. Not only do I believe it is an extremely direct and personal msg to Julia from LE but I believe that it's likely telling her, "Julia, we've got you, honey!..you can run and you can hide but this is one game you cannot manipulate to win!.. We're smarter than you and withOUT any help or cooperation from you at all we have got you right where we want you!!.. Julia the gig is up!"..

Of course NOTHING but speculation on my part but I do believe it's very possible and I pray they're so very close.. But the one thing I know for certain is that these investigators/LE/FBI have played Julia at her very own game that she, alone created, and thrived at beating down Solomon and her family with.. This time these guys she's dealing with have taken it to a whole new level and to say Julia's finally met her match?!?.. Well, Julia will soon find out thats the biggest understatement of all!!!

Thank you. He has pneumonia... He went to the doctor today and they sent him straight to the ER. They don't know if they're admitting him yet. They've given him a steroid shot and now he's having nebulizer treatment to get his blood-oxygen levels up (or to try, anyway).

Moo...LE is trying to tell her they are narrowing in on her. They have probably crossreferenced her banking/spending habits with surveillance tapes and probably are trying to drive her out of "hiding" by making her wonder what she missed.

Wouldn't surprise me if some of the comments on the flickr photos are LE. Upping the stress factor....

ETA: The flickr comments "Your only chance for leniency is if you tell the truth!" is not what the normal public is thinking. Locals want her to tell the truth and have her locked up...or worse. the leniency part reminds me of what LE says to make people think they are only helping themselve get out of a bad situtation

She looks like a total mess - and additionally, a total mess in full panic.

I kind of had a brainflash just now. You know how we all were saying anyone would lend her their cell phone, she could have approached innumerable people, in the church parking lot, etc., they would have helped?

I'm kind of ashamed to admit it, but I wouldn't have helped this woman. I would have walked the other way, quickly, if possible. Actually, I might have been drawn to help her because she had her child in tow - but she, herself, I would have avoided her.

In my life experiences in the past when a woman who looks like that approaches you for help, you can't ever disentangle yourself. The need is deep.

Prayers for a complete recovery for your husband. ;D

GREAT observation. My guess is, since you can't see M in these photos, this pic was taken in the couple days before she had her hair done, and Sky went missing.

Just a guess. Her hair is NOT "done", and there doesn't appear to be a child with her, indicating this pic was not taken the morning Sky was reported missing.

There are some very interesting quotes in this document that I want to highlight:

Yes, the panic kinda jumped out at me. I agree that LE chose these specific screen shots to publicize. Especially the one where JB is looking (outside?) over her right shoulder anxiously. Is she looking towards a car with a toddler either dead or one she prepared to pass off to someone else to whisk away?
