I am so sorry no one checked in on you yesterday sweet child. We are still here - just sometimes we get busy. Still thinking of you and wanting to bring you home. As more time goes on, I realize that there is less and less hope you might be with someone who kidnapped you - we would have found you by now. We want you to get the dignity that you deserve . . . we will never stop looking. Gather your energy little man, and give us a sign - we will follow to find you.

I wish that now since its so sunny and nice in WA that LE or SM or anyone would organize some searches or something. I'm so worried that as long as JB doesn't talk, nothing is going forward in the investigation. We don't need another cold missing child case in Washington. There are so many. Sky needs to be found whether he's alive or not before another cold fall & winter goes by with him still missing. I find it so disturbing that many of these babies have likely gone on to be with the Lord, but their physical remains are buried or hidden or whatever in our communities and can still be recovered if we look for them. I know where I live in Longview there is Rima Traxler who has been missing for 25+ years and LE here says her remains have washed out into the ocean by now from Germany Creek where she was left by her killer, but shouldn't they still search the creek once in a while just to see if they could find anything? It just bothers me so much that these innocent children are just GONE and after so many years I feel like LE kinda just gives up. Get JB into an interview and make her talk! Figure out where she could have stashed him from when he was last seen and search EVERYWHERE related to those places! If they even *think* he could be in the landfill, SEARCH it!! Lock her up, do SOMETHING!!! She's out free to do whatever she wants while her beautiful innocent son is missing because of her? That's crazy to me! I'm sorry for the rant I just feel so strongly about this case, and I am so sad for SM that he's hurting from all of this that his ex-wife has done. It's so sad. Find Sky! JUSTICE for SKY!!!!! MOO!

Been out camping this week without access to internet. Sky, I never forgot about you. In fact, we discussed your case at camp. Could it be our best hope for solving your case is your big sister? When she is ready, maybe she can lead us to you. We just need a good lead. Lots of good people are working on your case.

And this is why cupcakes make me think of our Sky......

About 2 months ago,my four year old niece and I made cupcakes. We made one for every family member,including the dogs,and we also made one for Sky. They were decorated with love by a four year olds clumsy little hands..sprinkles and chocolate chips.
That cupcake still sits in my refrigerator..wrapped in "Dora" plastic wrap...2 months later.

There are many, many things that remind me of Sky on a daily basis. Sitting here at work, I have one entire wall made up of windows. I look outside often to see the weather, and when I see the beautiful blue summer sky, I think of Sky. I think of Sky when I take my kids to the park, and I see all of the boys playing and having fun. Sky should be at a park playing and having fun. I saw no pictures of Sky just swinging on a swing, or sliding down a slide. He should be doing that now during these summer months.

His big, beautiful brown eyes are forever burned in my heart. Whenever I see a balloon floating away, I too think of Sky. I think of Sky when I see other little boys enjoying their family or just enjoying life.

I think of Sky when I hear of a good deed. The reason I think of Sky, is because I am reminded of all of the wonderful people we have on the Sky Crew here!! We all love you Sky, we will NEVER give up, we will always be here, we will continue to hope and pray for you little one.

We had a family reunion last weekend at a cabin, so I too had limited internet access, but I thought often of little Sky. We were busy and I had limited access, so I didn't post, but I was here in thought and prayer.

We drove by where the Nebo fires had burned, and it was terribly sad to see the devastation to nature. It rained heavily on Thursday, and when we drove back through Fairview, it was sad to see the black soot washing down the ditches through town. The fires in Utah are beginning to settle down, but we honestly haven't even reached "fire" season yet. I pray that we do not get worse fires later in the summer season.
