Decided to post today just to say that this Sky Crew member may not be posting - but certainly thinks of Sky often and prays there will be some news soon about this precious little guy.

I wrote to Bellevue Police Department last week for an update. As yet, I haven't heard back from them. I will post response if/when I receive one.

Dear Sky Crew,

I received a response from the Bellevue Police Department today :woohoo:. While it is not much of an update, it does indicate the case is not cold. This is what I wrote:

"Dear Bellevue Police Department,

Is it possible to get an update on the Sky Metalwala case? I haven't seen, or heard anything on this case for so long--it is very disconcerting. While I'm sure your Department is diligently working the case, any assurance the case has not gone cold, or update you can give will be much appreciated. I'm part of the Websleuths.com community and I will share your response with a large group of people who are also very concerned about this dear boy.

Thanks ChelaCat! It's wonderful news that they are still working Sky's case. It's great that he hasn't been forgotten by LE.

What could they possibly be working on that doesn't include (not that they said it doesn't include) ARRESTING JULIA!!! :jail: How can she not be charged for neglecting MM? They know that precious little girl was neglected and nothing happens except she doesn't have custody? Really? I just don't understand!

EXACTLY!! She can't be allowed to roam free when she knows darn well what happened to Sky and where he is. Infuriates me!! :banghead:

No doubt, likely they are building as strong a case as possible before they arrest her a$$. Not easy since the boy was missing long before anyone knew. I have faith.

Good Afternoon Sky Crew

Thank you so much to ChelaCat for the update from LE. Although I do appreciate the update, I also wish that they would hold a PC and update the public as well. The lack of media coverage is so frustrating to me!! Tips to LE help solve cases.
- Without Sky's name in the news every so often, how will someone remember that one thing that may bring down the person responsible for his disappearance?
- How will someone's memory be jogged regarding a possible sighting of something suspicious - even if it happened a year ago?
- How will the public be aware that our precious Sky is still missing??

Of course, our Sky Crew knows that our little man is still missing and his case remains unsolved. We have grown to love this little boy, and we will never give up! One day closer little Sky, one day closer...
