I noted a news report where some of the reporters covering Sky received news awards. Will try to find the link out of all these open links that I have.

I am hoping that they are working on additional coverage.

I as well have some links to post with various candles, I just have to check on one of the links with a moderator to make sure that one is ok. Here is one link though.

This makes me think: should we contact some of the local news agencies to 'remind' them that the one-year anniversary is coming up? I think we should at least try considering these reporters received awards specific to coverage of Sky. This might be the place to start as there may be an additional incentive with them winning the awards. As well, I did a quick search on news stories which covered the case and many of the reporters names were listed.

"Phelps and Rodriguez won a second place award for best investigative reporter for the story, “Investigators still haven’t ruled out missing toddler’s parents.” The two staff members also won a third place award, along with Christianson and Bellevue Reporter staff writer Nat Levy, for best comprehensive coverage with their story, “Police begin to question the story of missing boy’s mother.” Sky Metalwala went missing in Bellevue last year when he was 2 years old"

I would recommend only emailing the media outlets that have covered Sky's case in the past. Isn't November 6 right around the election? The politics-orientated shows are probably going to be 100% devoted to the race. I think media outlets like GMA, Today, HLN, People Magazine, Huff Post are your best bet. Or trying to get online articles on CBS, MSNBC, FOX, CNN, ABC's websites.

Holy Cow....and Wow-Wow-Wow!! That's quite a list you pulled together Allusonz!!

Any thoughts on how to divide up the work? My only ideas are that if someone wants to post a sample email that we could all copy and paste, that might make it easier. Then, we can just claim which media outlets we're sending emails to (just like when we claimed which threads we would go through to review the case a while back), paste the sample letter into a blank email, and hit 'send.' Easy-peasy.

Anyone have thoughts? I'm totally open -- I want to get this done, I'm also just completely drowning in work right now....half of my client caseload is in the hospital under involuntary orders, making my life very draining and busy right now! But, I want to make sure Sky gets justice!!
