Patty, are you snagging this one to post later?

I am, however, since king5 is the only one covering it live, I can't upload it to YouTube. I will see what I can do to get it out!

:tyou: Nursie!

I think since Dad has an attorney who stated Dad worked to block a removal of the kids from the state it's probably likely both children are entered into the CPIAP list.

Theoretically when a parent is leaving the country (or even a certain mileage outside court jurisdiction depending on state law) the primary parent should have custodial agreements with them. CBSA is supposed to question parents whom are entering Canada with children but I have a sneaking suspicion it probably isn't well monitored. JMO

Russia doesn't entertain the visa waiver program though so it is my understanding that Mom and any children traveling with her would need both valid passports and visas just to enter Russia. In order to be granted visas she would have had to make application to the Russian Embassy and they would have checked her custodial status.

Just to add to this, my oldest daughter has a different father than my two younger children. When we have vacationed to Canada, I not only had to have a passport for all of my children but my oldest also had to have a notarized form with her father's signature giving me permission to take her out of the country. I had to show it both coming and going.

Found DNA in the apartment and the car. Hair, kleenex, etc. Trying to find suspect DNA.

Live on HLN also

SO called 911? That's what I think he said. He said she's just as "incredulous" as we all were/are.

Yes.

It is also possible that this woman, being from Russia, is actually (and unknown to her) the secret decendent of the Romanov dynasty, and this boy was spirited away by Romanov Ninjas in order to be crowned king when he turns 18.

But as tempting as those theories are, I am leaning towards "Mom, already crazy, murdered her boy."

And I will bet money that the reason they called off the search that fast is that the HRD dogs hit all over that car.

Except she's not Russian, she's Ukrainian. I do agree with you though about Mom killing that gorgeous little boy. Sky looks just like his Daddy.

Huh? Suspect's DNA in car/apartment? This is interesting b/c you would expect the mom's to be in both places, kwim?

The little girl said that her brother was in the car. That is not what they expected to hear from her.

had scent tracking dogs around the apartment. that was inconclusive.

Julia is cooperating and allowing them to have custody of the apartment. They will be following up on the evidence collected in the apartment. They don't plan to go back to the apartment unless new evidence directs them there.

Sadly HLN is not covering the entire press conference.

ARG I see that...just as I posted it they cut in at a critical moment and then went to commercial. Darn.

I think that is the worst live feed I have ever had the pleasure of meeting :-)

Contact is made through Veronica, Julia's attorney. They are available, responsive and cooperating. Mom is not willing to come in for the poly. He says that looks suspicious.

Veronica, the lawyer, says Julia is devastated and in no shape to take a poly.

Small group of 5-7 folks (I couldn't hear the question, but that was the response).

He says the story make one scratch one's head. He leaving a sick child in a car, much less just leaving a 2 y/o in a car anyway, is suspicious.

She said she had difficulty finding anyone to help her.

Dear reporters: When you ask a question, please use a microphone. Thank you.

He was in the car "wrapped in a blanket," per his little sister. That was a quote from Major Mike. WOW.
