Body found Aug. 11, 1981 in Duluth, GA.
While searching a trash dump site for jars near McDaniel Rd off of hwy 120 in Duluth, witnesses came across a deceased black female lying in a ditch. The decedent was wearing a brown or purple short sleeve dress. A yellow metal necklace (15in chain), a yellow metal ring, and a white metal bracelet were present. The decedent had quite a bit of dental work.

I wonder if this could be her since the last date of contact with Susan Redding doesn’t sound very solid. Susan’s NamUs #MP20630 indicates that last date of contact was Jan. 1, 1980, however the “Circumstances of Disappearance” says:
“Susan left Washington and returned to Georgia in 1975. She was last seen by family at her mother's home and there is no information to indicate she went back to Washington State. She was last heard from when she called her mother and grandmother’s homes in the mid-1980s, prior to her father's death in 1987.”
