The Jane Doe in the thread posted above does seem promising, but without any photos of Tasha, there's no way to know if the facial features match up. It breaks my heart that a 15 year old girl slipped through the cracks like this. I hope there's a resolution to her case somehow.

Possibly Jane Doe B-20 https://identifyus.org/en/cases/9930? Ridgway also has two other unidentified victims (known as Jane Doe B-10 and Jane Doe B-17, respectively), but the timing on them would rule her out if her LKA date is accurate. Who saw her last on July 25, 1985? Are they the same person who reported her missing?
What was their relationship to her, that they did not know her real name but knew she was 15?

Tasha does have rule-outs on Namus (what I call the VA-4, because they are basically listed as rule-outs on everyone), so does that mean they do have DNA for "Tasha" even if they aren't sure that's her real name??

Regarding them not knowing her "true name"... is it possible that this is a Johnny Lee Mills-type situation and Tasha ran away from a shelter or something similar, and they think she was using a false name?
