On January 23rd, there will be a candlelight vigil at 4702 South Center Street in Tacoma, Washington marking 13 yrs since Teekah Lewis was kidnapped from that location. The candlelight vigil will start at 7:00pm.
They are also collecting new teddy bears for the Mary Bridge Children's Hospital from January 1st-23rd. We are also collecting used clothing, toys, and stuffed animals for the local shelters.

TACOMA, Wash. - The mother of a missing Tacoma girl who disappeared 13 years ago says for the first time she is losing hope in her daughter's case.
Theresa Lewis says she has learned from police about other possible child crimes at about the same time that her daughter, 2-year-old Teekah Lewis, vanished from a Tacoma bowling alley on Jan. 23, 1999.

If theres one thing worse than the death of a child, its the disappearance of a child.
Monday marked the 13th anniversary of the vanishing of 2-year-old Teekah Lewis of Tacoma. Bill Clinton was still president when she went missing. The bowling alley on Center Street where she vanished has since been razed.
She was a toddler then; she would be a high-schooler today. And she is still missing.

My housebound neighbor just texted me to say she heard on the news that Teekah has been found ! Alive. I am in Seattle,so this is local for me... I am trying to find out if my neighbor got it right...Keeping my fingers crossed...
ETA Sigh...my neighbor misunderstood the news. But, it is really strange : a man supposedly tried to lure Teekah's 14 year old sister from a store. When she refused to go with him,he left the store. Apparently he had 2 kids in the back seats of his car... Teekah's sister then told her mother. I thought it was going to be a miracle for a few minutes there... MOO

TACOMA, Wash. -- Theresa Lewis wanted to have a baby born on the Fourth of July. But now the holiday has an ominous feeling for her.

The man who lives in the home says he was questioned by detectives with Tacoma Police for hours. He said he does not know Teekah Lewis and he did not do anything wrong.
But Teekah's mother, Theresa, is asking new questions.
"There has to be something for them to get a search warrant, and search this man's house and dig up the backyard, she said.
Police confirmed that they questioned the man in connection with the disappearance of Teekah. Police also say the man pleaded guilty in 2011 in a different case that involved child luring at a different bowling alley.

See, I'm calling BS. . .I don't think there is anybody (old enough to remember when it happened) in Tacoma that doesn't know who Teekah Lewis is.
I hope they get some answers. It's been way too long.
