I am also wondering if there will be an update on her, her Namus profile was removed 7 months ago, also there is Mercer Island John Doe who was found in a different county in Washington and he was identinfied (Namus removed) around a year ago, also no news in his case.

Identified by DNADoeProject as Jennifer Elaine Vawter, announced today on their FB page. Originally ID'd in 2021 but name withheld due to the police investigation into her death. 'Her last known residence was in Yelm, Washington, just a few miles from where her remains were found'.

She would've been around 44 at the time of her death. It seems she was also married a few times.

The DNA Doe Network page says she was born in 1981 and that one set of her grandparents got married in 1960 (if she was born in 1969 that means one of her parents would likely have been a young child?). Are you sure that you have the right person?

I am not sure I have the right person! I think I misread it that she was 44 now.

Is Patterson her married name? I am not sure why she has two family names on the Thurston County Sheriff’s poster
