Looks like such a proud papa doesn't he? 6 weeks later he put his infant in the freezer for an hour because he was bothered by her crying.

Who on earth puts an infant in a freezer? I guess someone who can break his own child's arm and cause a head injury to a 6 week old.

Thank goodness the mom walked in. He'd have frozen that baby to death.

Soundoff. What the he** is wrong with closing the door? Walk away. Hold your da*n ears if you have to. Go sit on the front step. Do anything to catch your breath, temper, or anger or whatever it is that would cause you to hurt your own infant for God's loving sake.

March 2014:

TACOMA — Tyler Deutsch, 26, of Roy, was sentenced Friday to 16 years in prison for child assault for putting his 6-week-old baby girl in a freezer to get her to stop crying and for other injuries she suffered.

Despite being in the freezer for nearly 90 minutes, the child recovered from hypothermia.

“Though the child has fully recovered, and we are grateful for that, this was a horrible and inexplicable crime,” Pierce County prosecutor Mark Lindquist said after the sentencing...

“Additionally, there was a broken arm, broken leg and head injuries that we believe were caused by the defendant. This is one of those crimes that defy understanding,” Lindquist said at the time charges were filed.

March 2014:

Deutsch reportedly pulled the baby out of the freezer when he heard the baby’s mother return to their trailer. Prosecutors said the baby had been in the freezer for about 90 minutes.

The child reportedly had blistered skin and a body temperature of around 84 degrees. She was treated for a head injury, a broken arm and leg and blisters, but has since fully recovered.

Prosecutors said Deutsch wouldn’t let the baby’s mother call 911 because he was afraid he would get in trouble. The mother reportedly got help from a neighbor.
