Im confused by that as well. I would like to write to the contact to see where this case stands. But I don't know if there is a reference number or other info that needs to be given? Sure wish someone who knows more here can send off a quick query?

Maybe they think they were a transgender because of the female cloth found near him?

No news so far, but I feel that thanks to his high matches on GEDmatch, he could have been identified. He is referred to as Tukwila Bones 03-342908 Doe 1997, and his NamUs profile is UP9541.

I updated the title of this thread to reflect their race and sex as 'unknown'. Their NamUs profile lists them as male (last updated in 2011), but DDP still has their profile titled Jane Doe yet described as a male. Hopefully, their high matches have or will soon lead to an identification!

This individual had a very close match on Gedmatch, I can’t stop thinking they has been identified by now
