VANCOUVER, Wash. — Vancouver police are asking the public to help them find a couple who were last seen leaving their home in east Vancouver on Saturday night.

Wesley and Crystil Cherry left together in a 2000 white Honda CRV with Washington license plate No. 654-YVM. Police say they may need medical assistance.

Wesley, 81, is 6-foot and 300 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He wears glasses. Crystil, 72, is 5-3 and 210 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.

If you see Wesley, Crystil or their car, or know where they are, please call 911.

I wonder what time did they leave exactly and where were they planning on going? Why not wait until the next morning?

I wonder what time did they leave exactly and where were they planning on going? Why not wait until the next morning?

I immediately wondered that, too. Why would they travel at night? I can see if they needed a quick run to pick something up, I guess. Like, cough drops/otc meds, Imodium, etc. I hope they will be found soon.
