I’m almost positive I met him in the summer. The year I’m not sure on it was 2014 2015 or 2016. Downtown Vancouver, WA. It was outside a bar and it was 100 degrees outside. He was wearing 5 coats and he wasn’t even sweating. Which worried me. He approached me and my boyfriend talking about a box he buried in Esther Short Park and not wanting the CIA to find it or something along those lines. I helped him get out of his coats and got him some water. We talked for awhile. I tried to ask him about his family because I felt there was probably someone out there worried about him. I never forgot him. I was so worried he’d put those coats back on and over heat. He just seemed so stuck in his thoughts that he wasn’t taking care of himself. Now I’m wishing I would have done more.
