Williams Summers was a Petty Officer in the United States Navy in 1982. He was a Machinist Mate Second Class assigned to the USS Robison (DDG-12), which was in port at the Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington on January 4, 1982. He disappeared while in port that day and has not been seen again.

He is originally from Alabama. He was raised in the Baptist faith and became intensely religious around the time of his disappearance. Although he's described as a quiet, reserved and gentle man, he got into arguments about religious issues, some of which became physical. Authorities theorize he may have joined a cult.

Prior to his disappearance, Summers had mentioned wanting to move to Canada. He enjoys fishing, playing tennis and working with handicapped children. He may use the first name "Billy" or "Andrew". He has brown hair, blue eyes, and is 6'1" and 150 to 160 pounds. He has two amalgam fillings in his teeth.

It is something recurring but the military, after seeing something shocking, is left with some trauma and that torments them, it becomes a mania... they believe they are taking refuge in God but in the end it is a fanaticism that does not lead them to anything good... in this case it is So it seems... he may have even participated in some mass suicide...
either way
rest in peace
