I'm so sorry Zach is missing. I'm about an hour from the area and husband and I will head there this weekend to search. We also thought we might drive down the road and just see if anything looks out of place.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Zach Krull has been found and is at peace, his family says.

Last weekend, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office in Washington confirmed that a hiker in Olympic National Park found a body believed to be Krull, a 20-year-old college student from Essex County, N.J., who went missing during a solo, overnight hike in April near the Lake Cushman/Staircase area of Mason County.

On Monday, Krull’s family posted a message on Facebook that stated he “has been found and is at peace.”

The message stated:

“We thank everyone for their incredible support these last 12 weeks; your thoughts and prayers have helped more than you can know.”

So sad... he died doing what he loved, his passion. It doesn't take away from the loss but have a feeling if he had a choice in the moment this is where he would have wanted to be. Sigh... my heart goes out to
His family and friends.

Very glad he was found so his friends and family can have closure. It's just heartbreaking because he was so young and seemed to have such a passion for life. RIP. [emoji174]
